    to yourself. "

Not ... Have no friends not equally Re-mastered
    to yourself.
Partially Re-mastered ... Maybe.May need a wait and see trial period.

Daddy Confuchini taught his children to 'Always hang around with people who are smarter than you'.
Explains why I like posting in the bar.
    Not kidding either.

Good morning y'all. Another beautiful HOT Texas day (97 give or take 20 degrees). @Texan -- so glad you're feeling better! 6 months ago I thought I'd never feel good again, but here I am feeling strong & healthy again. And appreciating it more than I ever did!

Say what you will about America's healthcare, when you need help, they're ready, willing and usually able to help.

Happy thought for the day. :)

Didn't catch much yesterday. Went to three places and went from daylight to after dark. Caught a couple Drum at the dam and gave them away to some Asian fella. Then out to my other spot .... Roped..... off COVID 19. Then I went to the boat launch and got a catfish and one bluegill. By then it was dusk and when looking in the rocks along the shoreline I saw what I was looking for. Got 14 Crawdads. I think they are a different species. They are green with really neat "horns" protecting the eyes. I think there is another kind in there also but I haven't been able to catch one of those. They are tiny but they are also really neat to look at. It is almost like the glow around the edges. I would like to get at least a pair to breed. Alabama has an abundance of Crayfish species and I am in a good spot.

I have one species I know. That would be the Louisiana Red Swamp Crayfish. Still looking to ID the others. I know I got 2 different kinds.

Ive never fished using Red worms for bait. We use to use Nightcrawlers. We would hunt them down at night with flashlights and a red plastic lens over the flashlight. If you didnt have the red lens they would quick go back in their holes because they are light sensitive I guess. I was so good at catching them. I put my hand inbetween them and the hole and hold them in place until they gave up.

We went camping on an island one time. I caught a bunch of Nightcrawlers to take so we could fish with them. I put them in a Styrofoam cooler with some dirt, grass clippings, a little organic stuff and some bacon grease. Bacon grease was something this old fisherman told me to add because the fish love it. You have to add it to the soil and let it sit with them overnight though. Anyway we get to this island. I put the cooler in the shade and put a rock on top so they couldn't escape. Next day all set to fish and not one worm left in the cooler. They all escaped lol. I wound up turning over rocks and dead vegetation looking for bait. Caught a pretty good sized salmon that I cleaned and we ate. A fun time and a great memory.

I used to catch nightcrawlers when I was a kid in Indiana. We never used a red lense. We just had to be quick. Sometimes they would just be lying on top of the ground. If you found the Siamese crawlers you could get two at once. But here in the deep South I use red worms from the garden. I am in the process of making some pond food from some Salmon. The bluegill love Salmon. And so do the cats.

YOU should be eating Salmon. If you can find Wild Alaskan Salmon.
Or the smoked kind.Salmon is great for the body. Not just the Omega 3 fats
but also Potassium and Protein. It helps to aid in combating inflammation.
    A Major cause of disease.
PLus Wild Caught Salmon has healthy amounts of Vitamin D a very
crucial vitamin that is not easily obtained.Farm raised Salmon has
    1/10 th the Vitamin D.
W/o Vitamin D you can drink Milk all day long and it won't
build any strong bones.Calcium is only absorbed with Vitamin D
    in yer system.

Hurricanes are something to be aware of especially when you are moving to a state that could have a direct hit. I never thought of hurricanes up north till Sandy hit the northern states. When hurricane season starts any coastal state can have a direct hit. People may not like to talk about them but when you live in Florida it can happen any year.

I don't like Salmon. I like Cod, Pollock, bluegill, and catfish. But this may sound funny, but no real fishy tasting fish.
