    Couldn't wake them. You're going to have to arrange their transportation over here, or start over with a new bunch. It still amazes me what kind of shape you leaves those poor boys in......:mrgreen:

    Good afternoon everybody!

    Finally got the truck out of the shop - had to replace the water jacket around the EGR cooler, as well as replace the turbo. 230,000 miles is too early for a turbo to fail, but it happens sometimes.

    The good part of it is that several thousand $$'s of repairs cost me nothing - it's not my truck, and it's covered under warranty by Cummins! In fact, I made $$ for breakdown pay!

    So... I pickup paper rolls tonight and head for Lakeview, Minnesota for anytime Wednesday. Leaving the warmth of Mississippi for the sure-to-be colder temperatures of Minnesota.

    Next week is my birthday, I think I'm going to see if I can persuade the company into sending me to the Pacific Northwest for Thanksgiving - since I've been home for a week, I need to run some before the end of the year.

    If I don't check in before then, I hope y'all have a good Thanksgiving!

    Hi, y'all!

    Yeah, steak is about the only thing I ever take with me. But I've got g/fs I swear ask for doggie bags for lemon slices! They also change every dang thing they order.

    "Yes, I'll have your Chef's Special, but instead of pork, I'd like chicken."

    or my fav nephew, ordering breakfast, "I want two eggs, over and burned. If the yellow's runny, I'm sending 'em back, be warned."

    Drives me nutz.... have it your way... stay at home!

    I'd like something good for a sore throat. Maybe some soup, and some wholemeal toast with honey! And a good cup of tea!
    I have a hell of a cold and am off work sick for the rest of the week, so I imagine I'll get rather bored. All I've done is sleep.

    Make the tea milky and sweet, please! :)
