In the meantime, making wanton homicide of children illegal is just good societal stewardship!

It did, I have already proven this over and over again. A child is clearly a person, and the UVVA refers repeatedly to children in utero at any stage of development. Why do you continue these failed talking points of yours?

The UVVA allows homicide charges to be brought when an attack on a pregnant woman results in the death of her child in utero. Homicides cannot be committed against non persons.

Education does not always equal wisdom. Currently, any woman in the US who wants an abortion can get one. That is not my opinion; its a fact. You may try to persuade her if she is willing to listen, but you can't force your opinion on her.

Those who care about human life are doing all the heavy lifting. Those who wish only to appear to care, are entering text in the abortion section of the forum.

The UVVA did not deem the fetus a legal person and you have never shown where it does. And you can't because it does not give legal personhood to the fetus.

Pretty high on yourself I see, meanwhile children in utero are being slaughtered and you are doing what exactly to try to save them?

    You haven't shown the "truth".....

The UVVA did not deem the fetus a legal person and you have never shown where it does. And you can't because it does not give legal personhood to the fetus.

    Wrong again as usual.

    A child is a person!
The UVVA recognizes a child in utero as having the rights of a person.

    End of story!!!!

I am nothing special, but I am not the one trying to force my righteous opinions onto others.

No, it doesn't and you have never shown proof it does.

NO where in the UVVA does it, nor CAN it, bestow legal personhood on a fetus.

See, a "child in utero" hasn't been born yet.

It recognizes it. There is no law anywhere that “bestows” personhood on anyone.

It clearly recognizes it!!!!!! Well it is clear to those who bother to actually read it.

Really? So you think it is arrogant to oppose intentional homicide? So I am imposing my opinion when I insist we shouldn’t allow gun murder?

The wanton homicide of children already is illegal. If you want to talk about criminalising abortion, try actually saying that without any of the petty rhetoric.

Not arrogant, disingenuous. Opposing is not the same thing as forcing others to do your will. I oppose religion, but would never impose on your right to believe in it.

Hey if you want to pretend that isn’t what abortion is,I am not going to join your fantasy. Even federal law is on my side with the UVVA protecting children in utero at any stage of development.

We force others to comply with the prohibition of gun murder all day every day. I don’t see the difference!

Then why haven't you notified the police of all these "homicides" ? :)

Good grief do you not read?

This has been covered a dozen times.
    Homicides are not all illegal.

Then why are you complaining about it?? If it's legal, it's legal......

And if you think your mock righteous indignation and rhetoric is more important than actually engaging in rational discussion, you're welcome to it.

You are incorrect. We do not force; we use deterrents. It is the murderer who uses force.

Yawn, that all you’ve got? The truth is the ultimate in rational discussion.

Wrong! When we prosecute we are forcing our opinion that the killing was wrong on the perp.
