But Biden won't be president. he will be the dummy with someone elses hand up his backside making his lips move. If Biden wins, it will be a lot like a pack of racoons moving into your house. It's not going to be pretty- other than pretty disastrous.

The election is a sort of test, kind of like an IQ but more on having sense enough to know the people promising all the free crap are making promises in trade for your soul- and none of them will be kept except at your expense. Group-think combined with child-think is what has and continues to devastate California and the dem cities. If they win, they will come to your city. Your home, your family.... and they really don't give a damn about what you want. And you... will have nobody to call but ghostbusters.

You've been had. Now, you may have to sit there and watch it happen, and ask yourself- What the hell was I thinking?
You don't really think Biden will be able to control any of the radicals who he aligned himself with to get a shot, do you? The man has never been a power player. He lacks the balls to run the job, so if he gets in- the job will run him, and he will pretty much be the dummy up front. A kind of a Jimmy Carter but with a lunatic behind him pulling his strings. IF you have even a reasonable amount of judgement, regardless of what you show others- you can look and ask yourself if that is true or not- and you will know it is.

Only one thing matters in the end: Trump is finished and we are free of him in three months. Then we can watch gleefully as he and his kids are dragged through the courts on their way to prison.

It’s the wafting smell from the trash in the White House. What the hell is wrong with him? He’s got his minions attempting disrupt the vote counting in Arizona now. He’s losing there but his best chance is having the ballots counted—this batch of votes appears to favor him.

He’s such a pathetic little boy.

Something that has held true throughout time is that many people simply can't learn to make good decisions with out making terrible ones over and over first. Some do that for decades and refuse to accept that it is the consequence of their own choices- forever blaming anything but themselves. Some die still doing it.

We've been seeing this in California for a long time now, where decades of liberal democrat governance makes terrible mistakes that drag the state deeper and deeper into debt and dysfunction, and the people are so determined to avoid being wrong that they keep voting the same way. The smart people who are in the minority are leaving the state- and the fools remaining double down again; and California sinks deeper into the pit of despair. Many young people do the same thing, refusing to take sound advice because it would conflict with the idea they already know everything. They fail to learn because they are defending their ego's illusion. Many of them are highly intelligent- but not smart or wise.

The lesson for you that hangs on this election isn't like the kind of mistakes you can get up and do over, because the danger is the destruction- the rejection of fundamental values that work for ideas that sound good but are so fatally flawed they can never work. The stubborn rejection of being wrong will keep those child-like minds that are too smart to learn repeating the same mistake over and over. When it doesn't work, they will double down, get a bigger hammer..... and each time, more of your freedom will disappear, because you gave them the power to destroy your world.

Are you really so naive you don't understand what the people you support are really about?

Excuse the cull my friend, I just wanted to reply to this bit. Another theory about why people are leaving California is because it's so successful and incomes are so high that many can't afford decent accommodation in the inner suburbs - so they're having a crack in some of the poorer states where land is much more affordable.

    Have a good day :)

That's what a politician might say- but the people leaving aren't mainly the ones who can't afford to stay. Big corporation for example, tired of over-taxation and over-regulation that has paralyzed their company's growth have been moving our for a long time. 1800 companies last year. Recent departures- Toyota. Kubota. Charles Schwab. Nissan. Nestle. Occidental Petroleum. Carls Jr, who has been there 60 years. This is growing, not declining.

There aren't any secrets here, just excuses. Anyone who can find google can look up the state's financial sinkhole condition, their infrastructure condition, the wacko laws that keep getting passed, the things like the environmental issues such as preserving a minnow (without success) that is destroying the best agricultural asset they have, the way that failing to maintain firebreaks and good forest management has given them forest fires they can't contain.Their tourist revenue is dropping like a rock, because places like the long famous Venice beach and the waterfront in San Francisco have turned in to repulsive shat-holes. California IS gaining homeless and illegals- but it is losing wealthy people and tax base. It's got all the signs of a sinking ship.

I've not lived there, but I've visited several times. First trip to San Francisco, 35 years ago- most things were really cool, but a few were not. Little free newspaper stands on the corners offered all kinds of free sex like they were craigslist ads, complete with totally uncensored pictures. Full-blown, not commercial but general public offering porno images of what they do on the front pages for your children to see. In one of the prime tourist areas, a man discarded a portion of a hot pretzel in a trash bin in front of us- and within seconds, some street guy was diving in to get it. Drugs were obviously on the street, but you didn't see needles, feces or homeless tents, trash and violence. Now- those things dominate. The impact on visitors is repulsive; they don't want to ever come back, and when they tell the folks back home about what they've seen- nobody else wants to see it either.

First step in solving a problem is recognizing the problem AND it's real causes. Until you face that, you are powerless to change it.
So far- California governance refuses to realize their own ideology is like a terminal disease, killing their once fabulous state, and they just keep trying to pretend their problems aren't real.

My father had a copy of the newspaper with the headline "Dewey Wins by a Landslide." Unsure where he got it, as obviously those had to be pulled back. I wish I could find that, as it's probably worth something.

I know. It seems weird considering the level of enthusiasm for Trump and the lack for Biden. I've said before that people weren't voting for Biden, but against Trump. Maybe I underestimated how many folks hate Trump, although I don't know many of them. I have no problem with it being looked into, as it doesn't make sense, considering how many groups Trump has: law enforcement, veterans, military, small business owners, immigrants from socialist countries, etc. etc. I guess if it turns out there was no cheating (or the cheating can't be proven), I will accept it. Will be a sad period, but if the majority of the U.S. wants socialism, then that is what they will have. We will at least be able to say I told you so, but it will be a hollow victory.

I agree. Mostly I am letting all this stuff roll off my back. The nation supped deeply of the leftist media generated political propaganda, and that was their choice to make.

About a week ago I posted that if Biden wins that it will be the first time that a presidential candidate did almost no meaningful campaigning at all but 'won' because almost all of the nation's media outlets vigorously campaigned for him -- meaning that they both covered up his faults and spun his moments of insanity into things that they were not while they also vigorously portraying Trump as EVIL. So we have finally crossed the Rubicon in that one regard.

I'm just hoping, at the very least, that we will be able to get back some kind of functioning Justice and State Departments.

No it does not. It just tells you that they're not willing to countenance his stupid shenanigans.

    Well then present and prosecute.

I think it's funny that you believe the military supports Trump. He denigrates them and a few days ago said their ballots shouldn't count, by saying that we shouldn't be counting mail in ballots.

The top brass in the military think he's a moron.

    You assume too much.

The dems basically ran a corpse. I guess it makes sense when a large portion of your voters vote from the grave.

Guess I need to say it again. It's obvious as hell, but what the hell.

A presidential election is always a referendum. Do you want more of the same, or try something different.

Trump pisses everybody off (that isn't in the Cult). That's why he's losing, to be specific, his failure at dealing with Covid cost him the election.

Since the Republicans maintained or added to their power in every other area, my guess is that people weren't rejecting republicans. They were rejecting a pig.

I voted mostly republican, myself. Biden was my only D vote.

The feeling of generals and privates are not infrequently very different. And the Atlanta Journal story has been debunked so often by now that I'm surprised even leftist will still trot out that ridiculous lie.

Perhaps nobody explained to you that in the new trade agreement alone, Trump's negotiations got us back more than enough to pay for the wall, and that gain is continuing indefinitely.
I never expected Mexico would be asked to write a check for it- obviously you did. But being a businessman of many years, I've learned that while making the profit is critical, where you make it in the deal is not. Trump collected for America. Mexico is and will be paying.

A man once rejected a proposal from my company that took me a week to prepare, refusing to even look at it- His mistake. Told me he would give my 5% over cost, take it or leave it. I thought- OK, I can play that game too. He paid the freight as a cost- but for me, it was built in. I had a big discount, like rebate- that came after cost. Set up payment due immediately, which gave us another 5% on materials.
Kind of like a car dealer who sells you a car $100 over cost- and his discount below that makes him a tidy profit, while you think you made a huge buy. So the guy accepted the new deal, and paid us 11% more than the original proposal he didn't even look at, and felt good because he thought he had beat us down.
Trump's a deal maker. He had a plan, and it worked. The fact you don't see how it's done only means he could easily outsmart you too. Fortunately for you, he's on our side.

Why would that happen? Biden's agenda will be as hamstrung as the Democrats made Trumps.
