As for the NYC gang rape, they were not Muslim, or at least not all of them. All were teenagers, but the girl was underage drinking beer in a public park though. That does not excuse what the five boys did though, but no one is innocent on this crime.

I know what he said. The whole point of the Immigration Act of 1924 was to prioritize who came here to those from Europe primarily. The 1965 Immigration Act removed those restrictions on which country, region, ethnicity.

 

The act of 24 greatly reduced immigration and put strict requirements on immigrants that did come here and that ended with a stroke of Johnson's pen which was the original point you contested

 

Suicidal stupidity is not a mark of love only suicidal stupidity. People who can't tell the difference between hate and caution are dangerous to themselves and others. And please let's try a little honesty, Trump only proposed shutting down Muslim immigration until we can get a handle on whats going on.

The "Government by Hate" Plan was tried out 1933-45, and din't work out real good

 

It did not reduce immigration directly. The act simply focused on where the persons come from through a quota system. Because Western Europe was on par with the eastern part of the US and they were not willing, at that time, to emigrate to the United States. However, after WW2, when the war brides started arriving from Germany and Italy, there was pressure to change the Immigration code to what it was today.

 

It reduced and controlled immigration. What we have now is nearly open borders and our country is fragmenting under the strain

 

It did not reduce immigration per se and the borders back then are the same now, being controlled. The only difference is efficiency of being controlled. With the Immigration Act of 1965, which is an extension of the Immigration Act of 1954, simply used the same formula, without the quotas per country, of the number of potential immigrants being able to come to America.

 

Quotas is the operative word here

Things aren't working because the government laid off so many government workers and stopped hiring enough new ones to fulfill the requirement of new and ongoing governmental requirements. If they would hire enough workers to handle immigration properly it would save a good deal of wealth in the end, because in reality many of these people seem to be taking advantage of our social support systems.

[Loss of government jobs is a major reason why the middle class is foundering. Most of them, black and white, do not have that "wealth privilege" that allows the better connected to continue to find work. Why are they trying to save money on the backs of the middle class? The goal, of course. is to keep the dollars of the wealthy from losing value.

Our government has never been willing to increase the money supply sufficiently to adequately compensate real workers for doing real work. They would rather lay people off and make them desperate, while at the same time rewarding money manipulators in our financial corporations.]
