Students Who Refuse to Affirm Transgender Classmates Face Punishment

I don't know. Me personally the idea of watching a girl do her business in the bathroom is kind of a turn off. I think I would stay away from that.

 

This is utter madness. These lunatic progressives are turning our kids' minds into Freudian playgrounds where objective reality (your biological sex) is a matter of personal opinion. This is just ideologically-driven pseudoscientific trash! According to medical science, most children with "gender identity disorder" resolve their issues after puberty. This new and incredibly odd paradigm only serves to legitimate their confusion and delusion. Why in the world would we ENCOURAGE disordered thinking? Do progressives want us to abandon biological norms altogether!?

I haven't heard anyone suggesting that other kids going to have to apply these kid's makeup or wipe their bums for them! What do you think other kids are being asked to do?

These laws are usually the brainchild of men and supported by liberal men because they don't understand the fear that women have when half their body is "exposed" somewhere and a male body is in that same vicinity. They usually try to play this off and put the blame on us, using age-old misogynistic words like "hysteria". Oooohhh, they're in hysterics over sharing a bathroom or shower. Oh, what babies!

I don't know if the person in the bathroom with me alone is a male in women's clothing or a male in women's clothing who thinks he's a woman.

That's the fear that they will never understand, and I've long ago stopped worry about them understanding and just avoid those situations entirely.

Other kids are being expected to play along in the form of "Affirming and supporting" this outlandish fantasy. If they do not...they'll be punished.

This has nothing to do with homosexuality or its basis in evolutionary biology. It is about an individual's biological sex being inexplicably linked to socially constructed gender identities in a way that is bizarre and unscientific. Children with "gender confusion" are, well, confused! and validating their confusion, as these policies are designed to do, only serves to encourage disorder. It would be no different than letting kids decide to be a tiger or a clam! It's all so incredibly blizzare and I shudder to think what is going through the mind of these psychiatrists. They really are a strange group of people!

 

Absolutely sickening..... I miss the days when men were men and women were women and they weren't confused about who they were. and those who were gay or felt like the opposite sex didn't make their sexual identity a problem for others......

Well, it is also inconsistent. On one hand they told young girls in the 1970s-1990's that gender was just a construct and that to gravitate to pink or particular clothing was not an innate trait of your sex, but when it comes to transgender these are "indicators" that you should change your physical body to match a gender construct that they have said was bogus all along.

I think that we should forget about tying outward to inward, let people be whatever "sex" they are born with but look however they want and empower that. It confuses people when they think they have to look a certain way and have their "insides" match the outsides so early on, leading to hormone maintenance and even GRS.

I dunno. I think they should hold off on all of this until they are done growing.

 

Seriously, have all the surgeries you want and call yourself whatever you want, it's whatever, I don't really care. But if you're born a dude, you're a dude. Point blank. And same goes for women. If you change your sex, at the end of the day, you're still a dude in a womans locker room.

Unfortunately I live here and have kids in the public school system. I will be informing my kids they do not have to play along with this charade, and that if they ever run into this kind of lunacy and feel uncomfortable with it...that any school penalty will be fine. I will not teach my kids to lay down for this bullcrap.

 

Think about it, it will take a while before it gets that point. They would have to have a teacher in their to supervise to make sure nothing happened and parents aren't going to like that to much. They have to be conditioned first before they accept that idea.

 

I think we should just empower people to look and feel how they want instead of mutilating their own bodies to fit a gender construct we said for 40 years during the women's movement was horse(*)(*)(*)(*).

 

How incredibly obtuse. The article clearly states that children will be obligated to affirm this behavior and confusion. Not only does it send the wrong message to the children with identity issues, it sends the wrong message to all the children. Children need standards and structure, not some nebulous world of abstraction created by a loony psychiatrist. What happened to organic parenting? What happened to common sense? A boy is a boy and a girl is a girl. Your chromosomes determine that, not your mindset. We shouldn't be affirming behavior that is typically resolved after the onset of puberty. It's the exact opposite of how to heal! The quacks behind this are violating the Hippocratic Oath.

I'll tell you this, if they did this when I was in HS I would claim to be a girl and there would be growing every time I hit the showers.

 

I wouldn't either.... this is really going overboard - WAY overboard. The only students who should be given total tolerance and acceptance are the special needs kids, but this crap is totally unfair to the students who don't understand this transgender style.....

A couple of yrs ago I read about his "DOS" meaning 'day of silence' that was going to be implemented in the schools where the students had to be silent for a certain period of time in 'honor' of the gays & lesbians...

Haven't heard anything about that since, so don't know how far it went.

I'd tell my kids to make noise during that one. Sexual preferences are not something anyone ever need "honor" with a period of silence.

Very well said.... I remember that one thread about a boy, around 7-8 yrs old who felt he was a girl and some idiot psychiatrist/psychologist gave him a hormone block to give him time to sort out what he tho't he was.. and the parents went along w/it.....

Instead of just letting nature take it's course, just shove meds in the kids.
