Not in America. There are instances where the law provides certain benefits to married couples, and so it might be necessary to produce a certificate. But ANY marriage is regarded as valid.

Just out of curiosity, what is your native language? Often, you seem to be trying to say something but the fractured syntax makes it sound incoherent. No sex is required in any marriage in the United States. What nation are you referring to? How is sex usually demonstrated in your country?

 

I believe there are only 3 states left who require consummation to complete the marriage. But a sexual relation is simply presumed in all the others. Although, Immigration still declares marriages to a foreigner a fraudulent marriage, if the relationship hasn't been consummated.
BUT, the fact that two platonic friends can marry, makes the exclusion of closely related couples all the more absurd. So this new marriage that now has nothing to do with procreation. Nothing to even do with sex, must exclude all closely related couples, EVEN those of the same sex, because if they are of the opposite sex, and engage in sexual relations they might produce a child with genetic defects.
If marriage is now to be unrelated to procreation or even sex, it needs to be made available to any two consenting adults. Nothing special about homosexuals that justifies such preferences. Two gay guys are no more due respect and dignity than any two consenting adults who desire the benefits of marriage.

Do you understand that it's not a requirement for marriage? Are you talking about annulment? There is such a thing as a voidable marriage, and depending on the country, there can be a long list of reasons to void a marriage. The most common reason is that the marriage was coerced rather than consenting.

People are individuals and there is no difference between the way each person can be regarded or discriminated against and protected or not under The Constitution. That being said the individual rights still apply for each...including marriage. You cannot choose laws at random that only apply to one individual or couple.

ACTUALLY almost every state has a law that automatically deems any marriage between two closely related people, null and void. It is as if it never even existed, even if it actually has for years, complete with a certificate.
