OK this is one of the situations where we find hypocrisy. It may be due just to a hatred but the reality of the situation is, that in the beginning the UK was encouraging British Muslims to fight in Syria as, in case people have forgotten, we were supporting the extremists against Assad. At the time I was alerted to this because the Egyptian we had on this site alerted us to Morsi allowing him in to speak in Egypt to encourage Egyptians to go and fight in Syria. This was the first time Morsi did anything of the sort and shortly before the coup - possibly trying to avoid the coup.

Hark at how they use the same propaganda to try and encourage Egyptians to go and fight in Syria as people in general use to encourage hatred of Muslims in general.

Now here is the thing. Only a week or so after this I noticed in the News that British Muslims were trying to get Theresa May, then Home Secretary to ban Mohammed al-Arifi from entry to Britain. He was due to arrive shortly. This was mainly because they were concerned that he would start a Sunni/Shia divide in Britain as well as call people to fight in Syria. Theresa May refused to ban him - obviously because we were supporting these extremist Muslims. She did ban him the next year. I think that was because the debate on a strike on Syria later than year brought out into the open in the UK that the Syrian Rebels were extremists.

When harking on about Muslims going to fight in Syria, we should not forget that our Governments were initially supporting this. They believed they were fighting on the same side as the government. This is one of the things that is always forgotten when people want to demonise Muslims rather than trying to genuinely understand what has been going on.

 

The the current generation of Swedish children I'm desperately sorry for. They will never know their country.

 

Yet another illogical post from Kazenatsu. Let's think, try it for a change, how many Muslim names can you think of? Now how many non-Muslim names can you think of? Do you get it yet? Here is a non-subtle clue - there are not many Muslim names hence the choice of names is fairly limited. And also note that in the list of the top 10 boys and girls names not one are Muslim. So was there a point you were trying to make in your desperation?
