It takes many weeks or months or even years to investigate the context of the keywords and whether a threat has occurred. Yet you think that a threat made on an obscure website a few hours before the threat was carried out should have been noticed.

I stand corrected about ALL of them but your own link seems to miss some key data, namely which cities because many municipalities outright banned handguns including in your own home.

This is bad summary because even if its on a private residence if it occurred in a city like Chicago or Washington DC then you couldn't own a handgun even in your own house. Also most of those were domestic cases not the nutjob gunman going in to shoot up his coworkers or kill "sinners" like this latest case.
