The Golden Rule is a tertible rule if it is based on Judeo-Christian or any other altruist form of morality.

What exactly is it even you are trying to say here?

This post is decidedly lacking in "a little bit of thought"

    1) you disagree that the brain hasn't turned on yet -- the zyogte doesn't have a brain .. or did you want to claim that it does ?
    2) The argument is not "OK to Kill because Brain hasn't turned on" -- the argument is that it is OK because it is not a Person. Do you not agree that it is "OK to Kill" living things .. so long as it is not a human.

-- there is no such drug - that does not kill the patient .. and once the brain has died .. there is no way to turn it back on .. if there was .. we perhaps would not pull the plug .. but there is not.

It can't function in the future .. that is "The Fact"

You can't deprive a human of personhood .. when that human does not exist .. such as in the case of the zygote.
Nor does the potential for personhood .. mean that a person exists .. but lets go with this idea of putting value on "Potential Personhood"

Should we make efforts to stop the killing of the totipotent progeny of the zygote from .. because each is a potential person ?
