I don't see any improvement in the economy where I live or where my son lives in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas has suffered a great deal, in fact.

I feel for all those cooks, cabbies and housekeepers who are trying to feed their families after the president THEY elected has told the nation to stay home and not visit Las Vegas.

I'm sure though, being union members with short memories they will re-elect him again.

 

The left can probably reelect obama, but they can't save this country. That is their dilemma. They need our help to try and stand the storm. But having burned their bridges to us they can expect no assistance.

 

Some libs - Obama for instance - do not want to save America.

They want to see it ruined so that it gets punished for past sins.

Then they can rebuild it as they want it to be.

 

Obama has what he believes are good intentions. But the road to hell is paved with good intentions. They will fail because they assume it is possible to reshape America into Amerika without destroying it. This has been tried before in history. Each time it has failed. The first attempt to do so was by the Pharaoh Akenaten. He failed.

This country will pass into history, but the ideal of individual liberty will live on. We all remember Classical Athens. The Golden Age of America will also be remembered by those who love liberty.

It seems to be a pattern in here with those of lesser intelligence and ability to level unsubstantiated allegations and insults when there is no adequate response the to the information offered.

And we seem to be entering a new phase where ignorant maggot heads accuse others of the very things they are fond of, such a trolling and insulting.

It is truly a shame. There are some intelligent liberals in here who do have a fine grasp of the issues and can handle themselves in debate, but the low life, uniformed, slithering misfits give them a bad name.

That's because the only "recovery" has been for the slithering slime who have attached themselves to Owebama and his wasteful, failed policies.

I know that in Washington state things are getting worse. The Owebama administration's blocking of the Boeing expansion has created some serious repercussions. Even the "bright collar" workers in and around the Microsoft campus are being laid off.

I am sure too that the United States will make the mistake of re-electing him as well. And that is why so many economists, including Canada's governor of the Bank of Canada says the US "may never recover". He is clear, along with many others, that the borrow and spend path they are on will damage the country permanently.

Yet the US is praised for avoiding drastic cuts and acheiving growth while the UK has entered into new austerity and watched its economy slide along the bottom.

 

Sputtering as the country waits for the other shoe to drop. The American population is growing quickly, but the work force is shrinking. Is that a sign of a healthy economy? Some Americans are doing well. But not most. Most face a declining standard of living. When the dollar ceases to be the world's reserve currency the artificial boost in American living standards will be over and those standards will plummet. The other shoe is going to drop.

I come back to the point I have made repeatedly. American can't pay its bills. There is well over $100 trillion in unfunded fixed and accruing liabilities that can't be paid for. It isn't possible to defray or discharge those liabilities by taxation, borrowing, begging, printing money or write downs. No polity in all of human history has survived a prolonged and protracted period of financial instability. None.

This is especially true in a country politically paralyzed by unremitting divisions. There are historical processes at work. They grind inexorably.

 

I don't believe Obama has good intentions for the America that I know and love.

Obama hates that America just as the crazy black preacher at Obamas church told us.
