They are basically identical except Islam doesn't believe in Jesus as a god but as a prophet and it doesn't believe in baptism (not too much water for that in the desert).

Common sense says it is far more common in Islam for a couple of reasons
It is documented and encouraged in the religious writings.
separation of sexes encourages deviant behavior.
Unlike a priest, an Iman can have you killed.

 

Since Muslims, by virtue of their beliefs, are the embodiment of Islam, you still write as if you hate Muslims.
At any rate, hate is unhealthy for those who bear it.

Additionally, I don't have any favorite parts of the Talmud or for its racist & hate filled admonitions.

They think that Jerusalem is special. They both want everyone in the world to follow their beliefs and rules. The Catholics have their Pope, cardinals, bishops and priests. The muslims want to have one caliph. They have their ayatollahs, clerics, imams.

If Islam was such a malevolent religion, why was I able to spend 10 - 11 months walking & hitch-hiking by myself in the Islamic Mid East among the adherents of Islam and only experience generous hospitality & kindness from the hundreds of Muslims with whom I had daily contact?
My Muslim hosts & their friends insisted on treating me to refreshments, meals, and a roof over my head the whole time I was in the Islamic Middle East.
The innumerable Muslims with whom I spent my days were extremely interested in & fond of America, American cars, movies, music etc.
However, the 2 questions I was most frequently asked were:
1. "Why do Americans suddenly hate us?"
2. "Why does America help the Israelis kill the Palestinians & steal their land?"

I tried to explain the toxic influence of of America's pro Israel(1) - anti Islamic(2) MSM & Hollywood propagandists & the parasitic stranglehold of America's 52 influential Zionist lobbies but the Muslims still couldn't believe that those clever Americans could be so easily manipulated & duped as you have been.

How does anyone with "common sense" come to hate people they've never met in countries they've never seen?

You... don't seem to know what a comparison is. A comparison is not an assertion that two things are the same, it is a list/report/similar of similarities and differences.

 

Your hatred of Muslims - Islam and desperate need to slander all Muslims has even impaired your grasp of history.

The ironic truth is that Jews were more prominent in Hitler's military to the point that 150,000 Jews served in Germany's WW2 Military with the full knowledge and approval of Germany's High Command.

Numerous Jews earned Germany's highest honors and rose to the highest ranks of Admiral or General. (1), (2)

It was not at all unusual for people of virtually all ethnic group or nationality to serve in Germany's WW2 military as about 2 million non Germans fought for Germany including the "Free Arabian Legion" which numbered only 20,000 men(3)

Finally, I am unaware of any special interest Hitler took in the alleged mesmerizing properties of Islam.

In the early part of WWII, up to 150, 000 Jews served in the Wehrmacht. Most of these were “Mischlinge” which meant that they were either 1/2 Jewish, or had at least one Jewish grandparent, according to the Nuremberg Race Laws of 1935. Most of these soldiers served with Hitler's explicit consent. Not every soldier was a Nazi, and not every Jew was persecuted, although in many cases, life for a Mischlinge was difficult. It is estimated that approximately 60,000 soldiers with one Jewish parent and 90,000 with a Jewish grandparent were enlisted in the Wehrmacht, the regular army.

However, on returning home from the campaign in Poland at the start of the war, many of these soldiers found persecution of their families worsening, and many soldiers classified as half-Jewish started to complain, prompting Hitler to order their dismissal in 1940.

 

If you were to read history books you would know position of Catholic Church under Hitler for example. This has nothing to do with this topic.

My simple answer is only if they chose to. Otherwise, NO.
