I for one am color blind when dealing with people. And that's how it should be. Nothing needs to be done for the people I know because of their skin pigmentation. And that's exactly how MLK dreamed it would be.

What did that matter? They went to war to force the Southern slaves back into the Union, with their slavery along with the Union slave states. The EP didn free any slaves in the Union.

 

Who are taught the fort was in SC territorial waters under international law, the the Union and the Confederacy were in negotiations over and the North had agreed NOT to reinforce it when sudden they began to do just that. Blockading is an act of war. All the South wanted was to be left alone. The Union said nope you WITH your slavery will be forced back into the Union where slavery was legal even after the war ended.

 

How is this in any way a fail?

Except it did. The Confederacy didn’t legally exist. The EP freed slaves in the entire southern area of the Union.

 

Because those people are not socialists, and do not like the leftist direction the Democratic Party has taken. It's got nothing to do with race.

 

I'll agree that the Democratic Party of old, was patriotic, a pro-national security, bible thumping party, who did not view free enterprise (capitalism) as evil, and now the party has turned into the "Democratic-Socialists" pro-abortion prty, which has become hostile to religion and private enterprise, the "you didn't build that" neo-Marxist Party.

In order for you to think the change has been all about race, you'd have to convince yourself that people didn't leave the party because of their lurch to the left.

Many people are not socialists, they believe in god and the sanctity of human life, they are still flag waving patriots, and they are leaving the Democrats because they just do not want anything to do with the modern democratic-socialist party.

 

So then you agree that the modern Democratic Party is nothing like Democratic Party of the antebellum South? Why couldn’t you just admit that to begin with?

 

As far as the political ideology of the party goes, yes, because it has morphed into a far left-wing radical political party. It does not hold the same political ideology as it did in the past. Scoop Jackson and even Robert Kennedy would be kicked out of the modern Democratic Party.

As to whether Democrats in the party lost all notion of racism and bigotry? They certainly have not.

All you need to do to understand that the current Democratic Party is the home to race-centric groups, is to look at the racist groups that are embraced by the Democrats, like La Raza, New Black Panthers, BLM, the Nation of Islam, etc...

 

So advocating for disenfranchised racial groups is now racism? How the **** does that work?

If Republicans are so opposed to racism, why do they fight so hard against tearing down monuments to racist slaveowners?

 

I would contend that they are, in fact, exactly the same smug elitists they've always claimed they were. Dems and New Dems are still the same old racists they've always been. They introduce structural dependence at every turn. The look for, and abuse the weakest of us for their personal gratification. They clean the toilets, mow the yard, fill the beds of, or otherwise "service" liberal 'merika' because that's what democrats demand that they do. That's why identity politics is such an evil weapon that they wield. What is truly remarkable is the breadth of support they still find in their voting bloc for their so transparent racism these days.

 

Because we don't want folks to forget who you folks are. We want y'all to be remembered as the Nathen Bedford Forest loving monsters you are.

Yes it did and not one slave in the Union was freed, they were still slaves after the war ended.

 

Every state in South that was in illegal rebellion was part of the Union.
