Hello. Drug addicted parents don’t feed their kids. Are you that uninformed on the issue?

 

Children's needs always comes first, and those who put them at risk, parents or unwilling to understand members of society, are handled accordingly.

 

Why do people not get it?

Love for others and service in their needs validate life; everything else is fragile and breaks.

 

People in favor of wealth redistribution are under the false premise that it means they will move up more on par with the current wealthy. In reality they will move up just a little and the wealthy will drop significantly toward their level. But since everyone is now "poor", as you point out they should be happy with the new situation. However, instead they will be befuddled wondering what the hell went wrong.

 

A kid being hungry is different than the kid not having secure food.

I can claim that if a flood or earthquake happens I might not get food and therefore my “food isn’t secure”

Food insecurity doesn’t mean actual hunger, if a kid says he’s hungry, that’s not food insecurity, that’s actual hunger.

And like I said I care about actual hunger and that kid should be able to get food stamps, but I don’t care about fear of lack of food.

like I said food insecurity is dumb. Actual hunger is a problem.

The parents can also always dumpster dive for food if it’s a problem.

 

That's just it it must be structured to screw things up. Left to it's own devices capitalism spreads wealth. Government spreads poverty.

 

Bu8sinesses pay workers the minimum they can legally get away with while still being able to attract workers.

 

American rank and file workers today are paid the least and have the poorest employee benefits in the modern industrialized world.

 

And that would be exactly what you do when you shop for anything. You want the best buy you can find- and I'd bet you never gave a moments thought to either the companies profit, or the benefits paid to the people who work there.

They also pay the best people the best salaries, because they are more valuable- and their is competition for them.

 

Arguments against food insecurity are dumb and demonstrate a lack of moral character. Nonetheless, we will feed such losers' children if needed.

Explain why is it dumb?
Food insecurity is not hunger, it is the fear of becoming hungry.

It means the food does not have a secure source, it does not mean that there is no food.

why should I be concerned about “food insecurity”. Do not say people are hungry because that is lack of food and not that there could be a lack of food.

 

The problem is that the metric 'poor vs rich' is not useful except as a rhetorical tool to push subjective propaganda. Theres both poor and rich parasites just as theres both poor and rich producers.

 

Businesses NEVER do anything which costs them money unless they are legally required to. Witness how many super fund sites we have hyad to clean up with tax dollars around our country, many are still permanently polluted.The only reason we have state mandated minimum wage laws is because business refused to voluntarily raise wages and still refuse to voluntarily. Yet their executives reward them selves with salaries beyond reason,prime example DISNEY's CEO Bob Iger who in 2018 received compensation of over $66 MILLION yet had the gall recently to raise the Disney one day admission to $208 per person,costing a family of 5 over $1,000 for a ONE DAY ADMISSION????My response would be boycott Disney!

 

I wonder if "food insecure" people have cell phones. Netflix?

The surveys used to determine who is "food insecure" have very broad questions which render the data obtained as nothing more than propaganda to create another class of victims.

 

In Texas? The maximum cap on child support is 50% of your income. If you can't pay your own bills on $3,000+ per month, that's entirely on you.
