Rather egotistical to claim that just because you made a post the truth has been revealed.

The Church of Saint Simeon Stylites in Aleppo, Syria, is considered to be one of the oldest surviving church buildings in the world.
A church building or church house, often simply called a church, is a building used for Christian religious activities, particularly for worship services. The term is often used by Christians to refer to the physical buildings where they worship, but it is sometimes used (by analogy) to refer to buildings of other religions.[1] In traditional Christian architecture, the church is often arranged in the shape of a Christian cross. When viewed from plan view the longest part of a cross is represented by the aisle and the junction of the cross is located at the altar area.

It really does not matter what the religious zealots here say to attempt debasement of Atheism, they will keep doing it and make up creative new ways whenever they can. We are a religion and Satanists with churches who eat babies during out Saturday night drunken services of goat blood demonic chanting. Okay...whatever, at least we do not bow down before a zombie.

Tripe. I have no 'ingrained expectations of what life should be like, and how the universe should act'. I know how it acts and why. It's the nature of the world your god supposedly created. A world that kills and destroys the creatures he supposedly created. Was that a mistake by an omnipotent etc god? Surely he could have at least warned us.

Not many honest ones, none here.
So I prove to you that its in the dictionary and all you got is ridicule because it messes up your failed atheological theories.
That includes atheist religious zealots right?

    Website sundayassembly.com

    Sunday Assembly
is a non-religious gathering co-founded by Sanderson Jones and Pippa Evans in January 2013 in London, England. The gathering is mostly for non-religious people who want a similar communal experience to a religious church, though religious people are also welcome.

    History
Stand-up comedians Sanderson Jones and Pippa Evans started the first Sunday Assembly in North London in January 2013 as they "both wanted to do something like church but without God".[2] The first event, attended by over 300 people, was held in a deconsecrated church in Islington,[3] but due to the limited size of the venue later meetings have been held in Conway Hall.[4] Since then events have continued to be held, twice a month, with one attracting as many as 600 people.[5][6]

In October 2013, Sunday Assembly started an Indiegogo campaign that raised £33,668 out of a £500,000 goal[7] to fund building a digital platform to help grow the organisation. The formation of satellite congregations was promoted with a 40-day comedy through the United Kingdom, Dublin (Ireland), the United States and Australia.[8][4][9] The platform is designed to help provide a resource for people wishing to set up their own assembly and to connect with each other.[10]

    Local assemblies
Following the initial events held in London, Sunday assemblies have been held in about ninety cities, both in the United Kingdom and in other countries around the world:[11] including the United States (New York City, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh,[12] and San Diego, amongst others), the Netherlands[13], Germany[14][15], New Zealand[16], Australia, Canada and Hungary. Satellite assemblies must adhere to the central charter; a document outlining the principles of The Sunday Assembly and some rules which have to be followed for at least some time.[9]

So atheist religion is all about Satan Worship, State Worship, and their creator is Comedians!

    Fair enough!

This is a Sunday Assembly. There's a Sunday Assembly of like-minded people in the local pub worshipping the local brew. That's a Church?

Kokomojojo. Simply crossing out words changes nothing. A church is a building used for people who worship a god. Just because a church is 'decommisioned' is irrelevant. It simply becomes another building.

You are just twisting words. The Assemblies are recognised as a Church who worship a God. If you ask a member what they did on Sunday they would tell you they were going to Church. I know! I used to go to one at one period.

    YOU are the joke.
