The solution is one secular state

A true secular state is a state which completely separates religion and government.
It prevents anyone from using religion to gain power, or form religious parties.
It is a place where religion is used by individuals only for spiritual relief.
It is a place where you will never be asked about what religion you follow.
It is a place where everyone is equal, and has the same opportunity as everyone else regardless of race, religion, gender, color, culture and origin.
It is a place where people work together for the good of all, and not worry about petty squabbles and religious or cultural differences.

This, in my opinion, is true secularism.

Sadly, very few countries were able to achieve this status, and as I said, it cannot be done with international supervision and a sincere willingness by all sides.

Why are they more important? On one side there were people who got persecuted and were looking for a place to go to to be safe. On the other side, there were people, who did not want to give up their country. The partition plan was a compromise.

the war failed. Justify? It was more then justified. You cannot expect a nation to sit idle when shelled by missiles and when it soldiers get attacked in cross border raids.

If lebanon did not want the war they should have removed Hizbollah's military arm. they did not. Even the arab world mass condemned Hizbollah for Starting the war.

 

The Lebanon war was justified by the Hizbalshaitan lobbing missiles on Northern Israel and the penetration of Hizb killing Israeli soldiers... two of the five Israeli soldiers that were alive were taken prisoners and summarily executed a few moments later while the Israeli military camera was on.
