Aww, poor babies. Five people died. Boo hoo. You know what? Hundreds of US policemen and border patrol agents die every year because of Mexican cartels. We don't invade Mexico.

I don't see my way to justify the wanton murder of civilians, as the human filth that run your government have committed.

You are either a misinformed person or just a hateful one...
Comparing the US 300 Million inhabitants to 7,5 Million Israeli is surely a feat to account for from your part...

Israel is not accountable for the misdeeds of the worst President the US voted for... I am for the Arizona law that you probably never heard of.

Five people dying in Israel is akin to 200 in America... apparently you majored in math.

How many Israelis dying is akin to 1600 Lebanese civilians dying?

Boehner Video Hits Obama on Jobs, Oil Spin
GOP House Minority Leader John Boehner is striking back at President Barack Obama with a video that questions the president's leadership on key national issues. The YouTube video, titled “What About the Country, Mr. President?” is in response to Obama's speech in which he ripped into Boehner for telling a newspaper that a major banking overhaul bill is like "killing an ant with a nuclear weapon."

Neither would I. Once again, how many Israeli civilians dying is akin to 1600 Lebanese civilians dying?

Also, refer to the organization by its proper name, not one made up by its enemies. You and I may think that Hizballah is an evil organization, but that is no cause to be immature.

In fact Balou, the reason for the 2006 'War' between Israel and Lebanon is convoluted. Just as in 1982, Israel claims justification by virtue of 'Lebanon' (in 1982 this meant the PLO; in 2006 it meant Hezbollah) lobbed rocket on Israel or kidnapped Israeli soldiers.

In 1982 the response should be - nonsense!!. What was the REAL reason given by the Prime Minister, and could it be defended in the light of documented facts (previously posted on this forum - but ignored in line with Myth preservation)

In 2006, it might be interesting to listen to the head of Hezbollah, as to why they felt screwed enough to undertake the kidnapping. In other words, what happened BEFORE the kidnapping?

    Dear Liberal

I dont know where do you live but ı personally dont believe there is such a country in the whole world, including USA and some other western democracies........

Even in western democracies time to time some people uses religious beliefs and some people are more equal than the the others:).......

ı also like secularism, but mine is different from yours, cos ı live in a country where secularism always used as an excuse and means to oppress religious people.ı dont know can you see some interpretations of secularism can be antidemocratic and dangerous..............

Good ,If some Turks win some Nobel prizes everybody will forget Armenian Genocide, good news :)

Many countries tried, and largly succeeded in creating a truly secular state, such as many Northern European states.

Religious fundamentalists claim that secularst states are oppressive and non-democratic, simply because it does not give them the freedom to spread their religious beliefs by force. Force does not always mean the use of physical torture. Building an Islamic madrasa is unacceptable in a secular state because you are forcing children to learn only what you want them to learn.

While a secular state gives you the freedom to choose how you want to live your life, you do not have the right to force your life on them.

Sadly, most religions asks its followers to spread its beliefs by any means possible, which is in essence, against the most basic aspects of a secular state.

Democracy in a truly secular state is different than what many people think.

A secular state will never let a religion control the country in the name of democracy. It will never let one religion gain power to destroy other religions, even if the majority supports it.

All of that is out of context... all the 3 verses talk about a story of Jews who lived in a village near the sea, anyway some of them broke the sabbath in a clever way thinking they tricked God and God was so angry he turned them into apes and pigs as an example to all the Jews and the Muslims(later on). This legend was probably popular among Jews in Madina where Muhammad borrowed it.

There's nothing in these 3 verses that says the Jews are descendant of apes and pigs.

One side is the occupier, the other side is the occupied, lest we forget.

Are you "proud" of someting you didn't have any influence on? Interesting...

I believe the one state solution is rapidly proving to be the only solution to this never ending crisis.

Israelis themselves have started to demonstrate against Jewish extremism.

Moderate Israelis and Palestinians have started to cooperate against extremism.

There is no other solution but for both factions to work together against extremism.
