It looks like Trump may get to pick another Supreme Court justice pretty soon. With the nuke option in place thanks to Harry Reid, this must have liberals worried and wondering how long they can prop up Ruth Buzzi Ginsberg.

Some balance on the Supreme Court would be a good thing.

Some discerning of the Constitution's original intent would be a better thing.

Such sweet sweet tears. This is why Hillary had to be defeated. She would have installed destroyers of the country. Are there any Trans Furby X judges that could have been nominated:). She would have found one.

Wonder if they'll turn up the calls for impeachment?
Oh, wait, then Pence will get to appoint the judges. They just can't win for losing. Poor things.

Doesn't congress approve or disapprove of nominees?
    Aren't judges partial?

Only if they get a hearing.

The GOP was derelict in its duties to review the Obama appointment.

It would be ironic if Trump decides to serve only one term, but he's able to pick three or (gasp!) four Supreme Court justices. He could have a very long lasting impact on the republic.

    Timing is everything.

I don't know. The Left seems to love Judicial Activism and hates our commitment to Original intent, maybe they would prefer we abandon it and engage in Conservative Judicial Activism?

I'm inclined to think he wont make it two years into this one.

And with this tax bill giving billions back to the richest 2 percent called the Senate
replacement healthcare bill, I don't know that past 2018 Trump - if still in office - will
be able to have a hearing again.

No, that would happen in the District Courts IF their was ANY evidence of Criminal wrong doing. There has not, at least not by Trump.

Did you know that President Trump still has over 100 openings for Federal Judges that he still needs to appoint?

    Ruth Buzzi Ginsberg?

I've always been partial to Darth Vader Ginsberg.

I really would not like to see the end of Roe, IMO that would be a disaster.

This likely means a conservative SCOTUS for the next 30+ years.

People over 50 or so may never see a liberal SCOTUS again.

    I can dig it.

Are politicians honest? Judicial activism is a Liberal trait. The ACA went through with zero bipartisan support, one of the country's most significant laws in recent history. If our judges did their jobs, it wouldn't have passed.

Actual Constitutional respect would be a "good thing" and what is the ACTUAL REQUIREMENT of a USSC justice. Balance that.

How so. It is a states' rights issue in the 1st place. How can an idiot leftist judge declare abortion to be "free speech", which is what Roe v Wade's ruling was.

If Trump accomplishes nothing more than having kept Hillary from stacking the Supreme Court, he's done a good thing for America.

They did their jobs, and that is why it passed. And the ACA was concocted by R's in the 1990s, enacted some of it in a state that had an R governor. Albeit a liberal state.
So the R's did have a part of it, for it is mostly the R plan adopted. Just not the R's in congress at the time in terms of giving a up vote.
