Do you realize the classified documents are not just laying around the White House and the NARA knew exactly where those documents were at all times? Are you saying NARA lost track of the classified documents?

Now, you reinforce your prejudiced criticisms by bragging (actually BRAGGING) that you will accuse a person of being a criminal -- and without citing any reason WHY you do so. Bottom line, if you are struggling in this economy where there is too much money, what chance are you going to have when the republicans bring the real recession. They will abolish min wage, overtime, and bring state government regulated body autonomy.
People were all bent out of shape about high gas prices, when it was just the global market just doing its thing. Whats the plan to make stuff cheaper, for the "poor Americans" force people to make less for their product and labor through government intervention?

You wont go union, you will continue to hope for cheap stuff, and we will just wait and see if a majority of the work force in this country is naive enough to put republicans back in power. There's that little matter of proving "intent". At anytime did a foreign agent visit Trump at Mar-a-Lago to copy the "classified" documents or are there records of them being electronically transmitted? Unfortunately the Democrats won't be able to extract Trump's thoughts to prove "intent". Especially since there are clear records of him cooperating with NARA and the FBI.

 

Do you have a statute or federal regulation that proves what you say? I doubt it.

This is false. The president has the inherent ability to declassify documents on his own. The president doesn't need an OK or fill out a form.

 

If you claim it to be a fact you should at least cite the relevant rule or law.

Many lawyers on the tube are saying POTUS is the sole authority to declassify, and I suspect they are right.

Just as he is sole authority for pardons and commutations as mentioned in the US Constitution, he is also sole authority regarding our classification system which came about long after the Constitution was written.

 

Not sure why some are being so stubborn about acknowledging that Trump was subpoenaed for records this past June.
Again, this begs the question as to why they didn't take ALL the records in June?

Yes, the president can declassify almost anything he wants.

There is still a process that information must go through to have its classification level changed.

Nothing anyone on TV says changes any of that.

Trump and those close to him said Trump had declassified all documents before they were removed from the WH. He was still president at the time of declassification.

Again, this begs the question. When Trump completely complied with the FBI's June subpoena, why didn't the visitors to Mar-A-Lago, one higher up official and three FBI agents remove any questionable highly sensitive documents then?
There subsequently would have been no need to tell him to lock up the documents if they removed the alleged sensitive material during their June visit.
