By "blacks" I refer to the race that evolved in sub Saharan Africa. I also call them "Negroes." Throughout the world there is a positive correlation between intelligence and light skin. This is because cold climates select genetically for both.

In his essay "The Inequality Taboo," Charles Murray mentions an interesting experiment. 3,636 subjects were asked to identify their race. They were also asked to donate a tissue sample for DNA analysis. Those doing DNA testing did not know which race those giving the samples said they belonged to. Nevertheless, they agreed 99.9% of the time. This experiment has been performed several times with the same results.

Once we acknowledge the genetic reality of race it becomes appropriate to look for the genetic reasons for average but durable racial differences in intelligence, as well as criminal and sexual behavior between the races.

Now how about providing actual factual information to back allegations that there is such a thing as “race”.

 

Yes, he had no answer for that. I have told him, many times, his belief in "race realism" pseudoscience is rationalizing his admitted racism. It gives a rational veneer to his emotional bias against Blacks who, he says, have mistreated him in the past. Arguing with him is much like trying to argue Bible inconsistencies with a fundamentalist, where belief outweighs reality because they need that belief, but I still do because there are people on here who are sympathetic to his views.

 

Charles Murray presents scientific evidence for his assertions. Scientific truth is not determined by the consensus of presumed experts, but by repeated experiments and verifiable evidence.

Those with extensive experience with East Asians, whites, Hispanics, and Negroes know that what Charles Murray says is true.

Those who maintain that the assertions of Charles Murray are invalid need to devise a method of significantly and permanently raising the intelligence of children who test poorly for IQ at the age of seven.

No method has been developed. I am confident that no method will be developed. I am also confident that when high IQ genes are discovered it will also be discovered that whites and East Asians are more likely to have them than Negroes.

What Murray and you do is completely fail to provide evidence - especially recent evidence and given the ongoing mapping of the human genome there should have, by now, found evidence

 

There is no recent evidence in favor of innate average racial intelligence. Charles Murray has been denounced; he has not been disproved.

 

As soon as we acknowledge the importance in genetic differences in determining differences in intelligence, it follows logically that average racial differences in intelligence are genetically determined.

 

It is ridiculous to maintain that intelligent tests do not correlate with success in the world. It is equally ridiculous to maintain that they mean anything qualitative about a person or group.

 

I went to grade school with a boy in my class who wasn't the brightest or had any discernable talent but his father had the alcohol distributorship for the city which made a lot of money. That boy owns the company now. My brother-in-law is near genius level. He knows most historical facts, he can quote dialogue from TV shows he saw growing up, he reads constantly and retains it. He can do that because he has worked the night shift as a security guard for the past 20 plus years,
In other words, there are other factors unrelated to IQ.

 

Oh! He has been disproved by the very fact that there is no genetic evidence of racial disparity plus - who, besides you, have even heard of this TWONK? You are defending someone who has been sidelined by other members of his field. He has been debunked and has never won back that position

The truth of Murray's thesis can be seen by the fact that no method has been devised to significantly and permanently raise the intelligence of children who score poorly on IQ tests at the age of seven.

The truth of Murray's thesis can also be seen by the fact that the race gap in average intelligence between blacks and whites persists, despite expensive efforts to close it.
