You must be joking? Bush, Clinton & Obama were real presidents. The moron in office now isn't even close to these gentlemen. And yes, insults and bad press came to all of them, and like all previous presidents they understood it was beneath the dignity of the office to act as Trump is now. BTW, who is "stopping everything Trump wants to do" (sic) ? The Republicans have the White House, the Senate and the House - who the heck is stopping them? Perhaps they are just totally incompetent....

From Jan 2011 to the present time Obama had a lot more opposition then Trump does - Are you saying Trump is a child and can't handle things and therefore he is justified exhibiting boorish behavior completely unworthy of the office of the POTUS?

There are some things that is better to just let them roll off one's back. Both Reagan and G.W. knew this. Not responding makes it a 5 minute story. Responding in the fashion of Donald Trump makes the story about Trump and his response. Forget whatever caused the twitter response from him.

There are quite a lot of folks who believe a president should act presidential. Not like a five year old throwing a temper tantrum via twitter. This name calling and constant twitter attacks is getting very tiresome and losing support for the president's policies, not because they are bad, but because his thin skinned persona who needs to constantly be in a feud. When it comes to twitter, Trump is an idiot using it to do a lot more harm to him personally than help. It's his presidency, I guess he can throw it away with his egotistical 5 year outburst if he has a mind to.

agree, there are times when I question his state of mind, but then when the left goes nuts but his supporters don't, then I question my state of mind because for whatever reason those behind him don't really care, and those that are indifferent (myself included) really don't care either. I have a twitter account, but I never log in, so I never see his tweets unless someone (usually a hater)gets all mentally erect over it and posts it up here and I usually just laugh and move on with my day.

From a personal perspective, I'm fine if Danny my drunken jet ski buddy tweets random bs, its just danny being danny... i'm NOT fine if Donald my POTUS sends out the similar crap, but his supporters just say "its just donny being donny"

With that said, its just really odd and disappointing when the POTUS tosses in "bleeding badly from face lift" that's just plain weird and I can't see what is being gained from that. That's the kind of stuff that drunk danny tweets out.

I don't have a problem criticizing his twitter habits, and i'm far from a hater. My stance on Donald was always "love the message, hate the messenger" so I was behind his idea's I just thought that we could do better than put a brash NY businessman out there as our countries representative. FWIW I didn't think Hillary was better, actually I think per personality is just as bad if not worse behind the scenes, she just had enough common sense to keep it behind the scenes.

With that said, maybe Teflon Don is the only person who could have pulled off the message that resonated with me, much like Charles Barkley can say things that would probably get his co-workers fired.

 

On the one hand I wish Trump would rein in the tweeting, but on the other hand I do have to admit it is sort of amusing watching the leftie haters have a meltdown every time he tweets.

 

The only meltdown going on is MSNBC and CNN. The NY Times is working up to it.
