That was why Jan 6 happened in the first place.

This January 6 racket was uncalled for and Whoever caused it was wrong and should go to jail for a long time.

The haters will hate trespassers while dismissing the previous years riots that caused damage and killed people.

The law is supposed to applied equally -- this is guaranteed by the Constitution. Pointing to this disparity is thus on point. We should all be concerned by the unequal application of justice.

She is a loyalist Obama appointed judge. Naturally they want to punish all Republicans even against the will of the prosecutors.
She is also a black Judge.

What is amazing to me is she punished a white man as were he the problem for her fellow blacks. She went far past justice.

My hunch is the black judge who refused the will of the prosecutors would have immediately freed blacks who burned important buildings and looted a lot of stores.

    Obama appointed her.

8 Months in prison for taking pictures. I bet if he was black you would sing a different song.

    She is black though.
    Obama appointed her.

I appreciate that feeling, but it was part of the idea that, if one takes part in a group action, all the members of the group bear some degree of responsibility (which does kind of suck, if you are one of only a handful who get arrested, from a massive mob). But it's still preferable, I'm sure to more jail time.

Sorry about my earlier mistake, BTW. I probably misheard the story on t.v., from which I wrote my OP and, since I was only using the link as a news source, for the thread, I didn't read the entire article. I'm guessing that perhaps, 8 months had been the maximum allowable sentence, based on the charge.

Funny it is fine to stalk a female in congress yet not fine to take photos at the Capitol. The black judge whapped him because she is an Obama loyalist. I have posted the black Judge photos here today.

And yes I saw the woman force the Democrat congress woman to listen to her.

they do have a right to peacefully protest, they do not have a right to riot and loot, don't you agree?

All rioters are equal. But some are more equal (in this case unequal) than others.

LoL, this judge was a diversity hire of Barack Obamas. Not even born in the United States. Hates this country, hates its founders and hates its people. A subversive foreign leftist in a position of power, just what the people trying to destroy America want.

    That makes 3 Times...:bored:

    Wanna try for 4 Times?:bored:

Also, it is glaringly obvious that you DIDN'T even read the OP Link.

The sentence was 45 DAYS! (NOT 8 Months).

You know where punishment for group action happened a lot?

When done by the Nazis. They would kill 100 over the act of one person.

    Wrong. The OP states here:
Mr. Mazzocco had not been a violent participant in the events of January 6th. He'd entered the Capitol Building, but not taken or destroyed any property, according to prosecutors. He snapped what they characterized as looking like vacation photos. They had recommended 18 months of home confinement (which I imagine might have still allowed him out to go to work, and the like), followed by probation.

Instead, the judge sentenced him to 8 months in prison. I'm sure this must seem harsh, to him; and it seems so, to me as well, based on his individual actions. But the judge, and some prosecutors, have pointed to the backdrop, here, as adding weight to all the offenses. To some extent, all must take some responsibility for this group action. This is a well-grounded part of the law; someone who is merely driving the car, can be convicted of a murder, committed by his co-conspirator passenger. End of proof

It probably isn't prison. Most sentences of less than a year is served in jail.

The OP Starter made a MISTAKE!
    And, apologized for the Error.

Please read the Entire OP LINK before commenting.

    Why are you posting BS?:bored:

    From OP Link:

The government recommended three months of home confinement and probation for Mazzocco in part because he was among the first rioters to plead guilty. But according to BuzzFeed News, Chutkan said that home confinement does not “reflect the seriousness of the crime,” so she sentenced him to 45 days in prison.

Thank you Obama for appointing a judge who metes out justice to fascist righties who hate this country’s freedoms.

Biden needs to appoint lots more judges like this one, who will mete out justice to those who commit violence at the direction of a cult icon.

That's not really the strongest logic here.

Multiple people trespassing at the same time is not really a "group action" in the same sense that taking part in other crimes are.

In logic what you are doing here is called an equivocation fallacy.
You are not looking at the underlying reasons why criminals often get held responsible for the actions of the group.
Instead you seem to just assume it goes without without saying that it does.
