The only thing you can do is wash hands and wipe down everything asap. And of course don’t touch your face. And of course if you have any of the preconditions take extraordinary care.

People in the grocery store do not sing loud, do not yell out their joy, they do not spent 2 hours in one room.

Even if those folks are 6 feet apart, after 1 hour that room is full of aerosols, from powerful singing, shouts etc.
It needs 1 person in that room, after 2 hours, his/her aerosol will be all over the room.

Why do you think that church goers would not act responsibly to eliminate singing and wear face masks ??

Because they are not acting responsibly by hosting a Church gathering anyways.

No mask, no service, posted every were and those &^%$&**(*&%$ SOBs ignore it. 6 feet, posted every were and those *&^%$%^%^^^& ignore it.

You think that it's not possible to act responsibly when going to a facility where people congregate ?? We have many essential businesses open.

I did not say that it is impossible. I said that they are acting irresponsibly by gathering together in a manner and for an event which is not essential.

Essential is your opinion. Meanwhile Pot Shops in California are declared essential and are open for business.

This is another particular "bout of semantics" that I regularly tangle with forum users about. I realize what they mean when they use the word "hypothesis" where I would instead use the word "theory", but I prefer using the word "theory" for various reasons.

I dived into the matter a bit deeper (differentiating between science and religion) within this post in another thread: http://www.politicalforum.com/index...mperature-ever.567973/page-34#post-1071445866

Argument By Repetition Fallacy. I already addressed this argumentation of yours in my prior post, but you instead decided to ignore my counter-argumentation and simply repeat your own almost verbatim. I understand your reasoning, as I already addressed, but I do not agree with it, for the reasoning that I have already provided.

It is not much, if any, worse than the "common flu". I think we will see similar death numbers to the common flu, even though death numbers for this virus are being inflated for political purposes (and because there are different definitions being used to classify a "covid-19 death").

Notice how the MSM pretty much only shows people who are having a hard time with the virus in an effort to scare people? What they are purposely leaving out is the plethora of people who have contracted it and had very mild/manageable symptoms.

Interesting. I’ve the point that the current global warming is the result of human CO2 emissions theory/hypothesis cannot be proven as well. I was thinking at a smaller scale such as the ideal gas law (PV=nRT) which can be falsified. It is of course useful as an approximation.

I heard a report that the CDC is reporting a significant reduction in pneumonia deaths in the last several weeks are significantly down which might indicate that we have pneumonia with Corona virus deaths. I haven’t been able to find anything on that however.

From about 13 minutes ago, the current COVID-19 figures:

    2020-04-008 COVID-19 MOD 001.png

    Here the EXCEL-Table:

    2020-04-008 COVID-19 MOD 002.png

There is strong evidence that we will definitely go over 1.5 million cases today and come close to 90,000 deaths. Why?

Well, here were the number of cases at the close of yesterday (GMT, not GMT +2):

    2020-04-008 COVID-19 MOD 003a.png

You can see that between the USA, France and Italy, there were about 46,500 cases.

Now, look at today right now:

    2020-04-008 COVID-19 MOD 003b.png

If past is precedent, that about 40,000 more cases have yet to roll in from the USA, Italy and France today. Plus, I did not even mention Spain yet.

Yesterday (my time) we had 83,192 new COVID-19 cases. I don't see us coming in under that number today. The hospitals in the USA tend to start heaving reporting at 4-5-6 PM in the evening.

Also, please notice that the UK is just under 1,000 deaths today. Things have gotten really bad in England, and quickly at that.

Just to be clear once again: I am not thrilled by these numbers. In fact, I hate these numbers. But the numbers are what they are.

Final report from me in 5.5 hours.

As mentioned and predicted earlier a few hundred of deaths reported today for UK were due to Scotland under reporting some deaths that occurred in the past few days. So today's figure is not really a representative figures of deaths during the last 24 hours. Still bad though

Yup, there are many problems with AGW Theory that end up ultimately rejecting logic, science, and mathematics in order to be a faithful believer in the theory. AGW Theory fails both internal and external testing. Now, that doesn't mean that the Earth isn't warming (as we cannot accurately measure the temperature of the Earth), it just means that the AGW Theory (that Earth is warming via IR radiation from the Earth's surface) is complete bogus.

For all the people who poke fun at other religious theories, such as Christianity, at least those theories don't require one to reject logic, science, and mathematics...

It's very possible. I haven't looked into it myself, however.

Not even remotely relevant to the topic of this thread, but you are definitely still wrong on that one too.

I beg to differ. You'll never know how how many of your employees and their families you saved by your actions.
