CZECH REPUBLIC GOES OVER 1,000,000 TOTAL CONFIRMED COVID-19 CASES, 20th NATION TO DO SO

Today, 2021-02-003 at 13:00 UTC +1 (Germany), 07:00 AM ET, The Czech Republic, also known as "Czechia", went over the 1,000,000-mark in confirmed Covid-19 cases:

You can see that Czechia travelled almost +300,000 cases since New Year's Eve 2020, so about 1/3 of all of Czechia's confirmed cases happened in this last month and 4 days. This country tends to report C19 data more than once per day, so this is not the end-total for Czechia for today.

During the first wave, Czechia had great success in keeping the virus dampened-down. It was, I believe, the first European country to mandate masks literally everywhere and mounted an aggressive advertising campaign to get the population to do just that.

But in the Fall, something went seriously wrong in Czechia and the cases started piling up like crazy, and not just in the few highly populated urban areas in the country:

On September 1st, 2020, Czechia was rank 71 among the nations, with "only" 25,177 cases and 425 deaths.

On October 1st, 2020, Czechia was rank 53 among the nations, with "only" 72,255 cases and 678 deaths. This means that cases grew almost 3-fold during the month of September, 2020

On November 1st, 2020, Czechia was rank 27 among the nations, with "only" 341,644 cases and 3,429 deaths. This means that cases grew more than 4-fold and deaths grew 5-fold during the month of October, 2020.

On December 1st, 2020, Czechia was rank 25 among the nations, with 528,474 cases and 8,407 deaths. This means that cases grew less than 2-fold and deaths grew a little more than 2-fold during the month of October, 2020.

This means that in five months, Czechia went from 25,000 to 1,000,000 cases / 425 to 16,700 deaths and rocketed from rank 71 to rank 20, in a country with 10.7 residents.

Rep. Ron Wright (TX-06) has died from COVID-19.

He is the first sitting US-Representative to have died from the virus.

He was diagnosed C19-positive on January 21st, 2021, a little less than 3 weeks ago. He was 67 years old at the time of his death, definitely listed as from COVID-19, although he had also battled (and won) against cancer in the past.

RIP, Rep. Wright.

Also, just to note: Luke Letlow died at the new year. He was Rep.-Elect from Lousiana but had not yet been seated at the time of his unfortunate passing.

The CFR has remained essentially the same for the last year. These people are so invested in using this situation to panic their citizens into giving up freedoms that they are practically unhinged pushing the total number of cases as being equivalent to a skyrocketing death rate. Fortunately, quite a few people in the EU and now the U.S. are beginning to push back against this narrative. Of course, they'll be accused of being "science deniers" but the reality is one can believe the science and still see their propaganda efforts.
If covid were as deadly as they've tried to convince us of, India and Africa would surely have had deaths in the millions by now. The whole song and dance are just ridiculous now.

That last sentence of yours makes absolutely no sense at all. Not even close.

First, Africa has far more very open space than people realize. Second, Africa is less populated than people think. Third, Africa is far poorer in most places than people realize, meaning less metal, plastic, glass and wood surfaces for Covid-19 to attach itself to. And fourth, Africa has been very used to wearing masks to battle epidemics in the past and therefore most of the African populations are not resistant to wearing masks in order to protect the people they love. In other words, there are far less Covidiots in most of Africa than in other parts of the world. The glaring exception to this is South Africa, which is a considerably richer nation with more larger cities where people are more closely congregated, there are lots of metal, plastic, glass and wood surfaces for Covid-19 to attach itself to and unfortunately, there are some Covidiots there.

Now, to Asia. China is lying about it's numbers, it has been all along. India is pushing 11 million cases and working toward 200,000 dead.

So, excusing your very, ähm, unsettling and frankly, very weird wet-dreams about millions of people dying (it may yet happen, but not where you are wishing for it to happen, nöööö), the trajectory of most nations on this earth has to do with:

a.) geography
b.) form of government. Covidiot governments like the USA until January 20th, 2021 and of course Brazil's government to date (also, Venezuela, India, Russia, just to name some) have had massive problems with C19 cases, nööööö, because they have been ****ing covidiot governments. Fortunately, the USA chose to change course and now has a real President, not a pussygrabber, one who is also not a covidiot (which his twice impeached, besmirched-for-the-rest-of-his-life predecessor of course was). So, progress.

Meanwhile, the timing of your oh so badly formulated posting cannot be ignored as today (or tomorrow at the very latest), the USA will sail over ONE HALF MILLION COVID-19 DEATHS.
