Again the lack of economic understanding is demonstrated. "It's the economy stupid" - just as true today as when Bill Clinton said it decades ago. Bill was also a supply sider which was responsible for the high economic growth and budget surpluses of the second term of his Presidency. Too bad today's D party learned nothing from that success. But then again the D's have no economic message nor understanding of basic economics.

It captures the thought process of today's liberal progressives very well. Concise and accurate.

The people who do not have union jobs because the price of labor resulted in higher product prices and therefore reduced sales don't benefit a bit. Once again the liberal left displays a lack of understanding of basic economics. Typical.

Again, who are you to say what is in someone elses best interest. The union I was forced to join didn't do a damn thing for me.

In the auto industry workers take home the same but the cost to employers is much higher comparing right to work states and union states. What could go wrong ??

It's a cop out so trump humpers can stay ignorant and not have to deal with big words.

Your wages and benefits were a result of the union.

Nice rebuttal. Might as well have said "fake news" since that what trump apologists say these days instead of having to discuss details and facts. I can see how it's easier for you to just call everyone who points out how wrong and incredibly ignorant your opinion on this are. It sure beats having to think and respond.

TDS - Concise and accurate. It's very clear that the D party is in denial and unwilling to face the real reasons that they lost the Presidency and over 1000 governance seats in state and federal government in the last decade. As Bill Clinton said "It's the economy stupid." Clearly the "stupid" have not learned anything about economic growth as evidenced by the pathetic Obama economy. Big words are not needed to succinctly describe the issue. But the D's are running around spouting conspiracy theories about the Russians. PUI's working for Putin those.

And unemployment is also the result of gov aided union labor price fixing. Union dues pays for D political kickbacks. The only problem is that private sector unions have realized that D economics is low growth and low employment (U6 & LFPR not U3). And the rust belt swung to Trump. The D's can't figure out why so run around (like obedient PUI's) in a state of derangement claiming that it's Russia's fault.

All wealth and all the power are on one side, together with all the evil -as you show by saying, 'oh, nothing can change, ever!'

No, and home builders are not unionized anywhere that I know of. So the issue is irrelevant to my post.

They are just about never used for construction of detached private residences due to cost and a tight market. Go to any home construction site and ask if the workers are union. They'll laugh you off the property.
Shows how much you know. :icon_clueless:

I have no intention of it. Interesting that you attack my position yet you don't know my position even though it has been all over this forum for months.

You obviously don't know the first thing about construction. That's expected, since wannabe Marxist don't know **** about anything to begin with. Union shops bid on construction jobs, or commercial and residential all the time in right to work stars. Next, try being a nonunion worker back east, in any trade. It's not going to happen.
    Be gone.

Ok smart guy, tell me what a "tow nail" is, or is it "toenail"? Which is correct?. What is a bird's mouth? What does WRB mean? Which has a smoother grain, CVGF or SPF? What wood is most commonly used today for corner boards but was unknown 30 years ago? What are the two ways of framing a corner? What is a trimmer stud? Why is a router called a router? How does a jack plane differ from a block plane? What is a "waffle head"? What's a "lid"?

You won't answer because you can't. You don't know. And these are elementary. So eat your ****ing words.

WTF does this have to do with you not not knowing a damn thing about union shops doing residential work?
Oh wait, not a damn thing.
    Go away.

You aren't REALLY that stupid are you, that you can't follow your own words? You said "You obviously don't know the first thing about construction. That's expected, since wannabe Marxist don't know **** about anything to begin with" and your continuing insults are your smoke screen: you couldn't answer any of my questions and you couldn't find the courage or the honesty to admit it, so you attack instead. You apparently prefer to live like a dumb**** and rather than debate, you prefer to attack with no integrity and no honesty. Go play with the other kids, junior. You're now on "ignore".

Ya, you're the jack wagon that stated union shops don't do residential work. I ****ing provided you with a link to a union carpenter shop that are shack bangers, and you continued to double down on dumb, and deny the obvious. So it's true you don't know **** about construction.

Deal with it. Now be gone.
