Trump: Americans Who Died in War Are ‘Losers’ and ‘Suckers’ President repeatedly disparaged war dead

Twitter is on fire on this story, especially from ex military. The story is going nation wide, the truth is coming out about the despicable nature of Donald Trump.

I was already in the Air Force when Vietnam started up. I was sent to Vietnam. It was a terrible war. Men did lots of things to avoid being drafted including joining the Air Force. Being drafted meant you were likely to serve in a jungle environment with a high likelihood of being killed or wounded.

That was over fifty years ago. I have forgiven people who avoided the draft a long time ago. I am not going to start up now.

I did not like what Trump said about McCain. But there are lots of things I don't like about a lot of people. If I took those one things and decided that I hate them because of it, there would hardly be anyone left.

 

Trump: “He’s not a war hero, He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.”

This is entirely in character of his previous behavior with regard to our troops, including the reports where he said "You think I'm stupid, I'm not going to Vietnam,".

Where there is smoke, there usually is fire. If I was a veteran or in active service, I would strongly reconsider voting for this guy, and I am sure many of those have that exact thought right now.

 

This is not about avoiding the draft, this is about how Trump REALLY thinks about our men in uniform.

He has done more for the military than Obama and Clinton did. I don't know what he "REALLY" thinks and neither do you. So far all we have is a bunch of anonymous reports.

 

This fake news has already been debunked by everyone involved. The left wingers run with stories that are getting so ridiculous they are clearly just made up lies - yet they still pretend they are true. The motives are as see through as a sheet of glass. If there weren't exemptions in the slander and libel laws for public figures, Trump would be collecting judgments from thousands of reporters and others who lack the dignity to show any respect for truth.

 

It's fake news overload. The Trump haters think if they can flood the internet with enough insane headlines that people will get confused between what was false, and what was factual.

There are probably still people who think Trump removed the bust of MLK Jr. from the oval office, or that he got advanced Hilary e-mails from Wikileaks, or said white supremacists were "very nice people." Why? Because a lot of people only read headlines, and think they are now informed, or they fooled into reading the lies, and never saw the retractions of those false stories.

So it comes down to just how STUPID the political Left considers the average veteran. I mean NOBODY can figure out that media outlets with a nearly four years long trail of hating Trump with a passion could be generating anti-Trump fake news with THEIR anonymous source.

 

The story doesn't match the actual history of Belleau Woods. So the conversation would have had to have included a point of contention.

Can one assume that Kelly has no idea of the history of the battle area? If the answer is, "YES," you have debunked this story and have exposed it as being a false flag. If the answer is, "NO," you have debunked this story and have exposed it as being a false flag.

The veterans who believe this BS ARE suckers. Where is the hard proof beyond "he said she said?". And I dont care about McCain. They couldn't stand eachother, so I expect them to badmouth eachother. And I don't see how his saying that would be any worse than the betrayal of politicians who sent us to war, only to turn around years down the road and said they never supported us going to war. Not really. To Clinton's credit, he is an intellectual and deserved the education deferments, but he deceived the Army ROTC for four years attempting to avoid the draft. Bill Clinton, though he had a successful presidency, is not an honest man. There is no comparison to Trump, but let's not pretend Clinton is a bastion of honor.

 

I actually had to look up the author of the OP article because I was wondering who has journalistic standards this low. His articles are the definition of rabid Trump Derangement Syndrome - almost literally every one is nothing more than a fabricated hit piece. If public figures were not exempt from libel laws Trump could sue these morons out of existence. I've never seen anything like the obsession some leftists have with hating Trump. Who would Trump sue? The writer is likely telling the truth that 'someone' told him Trump said this. My issue isn't with the writer, its with anonymous allegations. Anyone who says anything bad about Trump seems to be immediately 'credible' even when their identity is concealed.

McCain wasn't precisely a 'loser.' He was more like a traitor, a liar, a warmonger, a political saboteur, a plant and a shill for the MIC. But he was very successful a those things. Calling him a 'loser' is indeed innaccurate. Many in the military have called him far worse.

To say Trump's criticism of McCain supports the credibility of the allegations that Trump feels the same about all military servicemembers requires a total ignorance of the context in which Trump (and many people including military servicemembers) disparage McCain. Its not unlike the claims that any criticism of an individual who happens to be a minority must necessarily be rooted in bigotry- its disingenuous embracement of deliberate ignorance of context.

Im not saying its impossible Trump said all military servicemembers are losers. Im saying that a writer reporting it from an anonymous source isn't enough to make it likely.

Regarding your claim that 'its so unbelievable it must be true...' surely you're familiar with the propaganda strategy- 'the bigger the lie, the more likely it is to be believed'?

You should pay attention to the tons of repubs, military, family members and former hirelings coming out against him- and all for the same reasons of incompetency and lack of character.
