you seem to be projecting. I have coached "children" in shooting sports for decades. NONE of them have ever committed suicide or a criminal act. And what do you deem to be" young people"
Who are you to tell someone else what to do with their own lives? if someone is suffering say ALS or pancreatic cancer, why shouldn't they be able to pull the plug?
Most of them are normal. About 95% of people are. Sadly there are too many severe drug addicts and people with psychosis.
We can never know how high would the number of overdose fatalities would have been without the War on Drugs.
Most people who commit suicide are not in severe physical suffering. Most of them have temporal problems.
well as someone who spent 24 years as a DOJ attorney, I can tell you that the war on drugs caused much of the violent crime in the USA
That's your CHOICE. Here's mine... I stand behind you in line at the store with a smile on my face...and a gun under my shirt and you are none the wiser, yet you are safer for having me next to you. I won't shoot you. My gun won't pull it's own trigger. It is securely holstered with the trigger covered. It can't just go off. However, rest assured that if a lunatic walks into the grocery store and pulls out a rifle, I will draw my pistol and protect myself and my family and therefore protect you and your family.... I may get shot before I can pull the trigger...but, I won't die in a helpless blubbering heap on the floor begging for my life or my child's life. No, if I die it will be in a pile of spent shell casings. I won't be that victim. I choose not to be. As for you, I don't ask you to carry a gun. If you are not comfortable, then please don't. But I would like to keep my right to choose to not be a helpless victim. There is evil in the world and if evil has a gun, I want one too... I don't know who wrote that but I wish I did.
If such were truly the case, then they should not legally be able to operate motor vehicles, participate in elections by voting, enter into legally binding contracts, enlist in the military, leave the home unsupervised, or engage in any number of other behaviors that should be reserved exclusively for adults.
These things do apply to younger minors -- I think 16 for driving and 12 yo for leaving home without adults.
The 2nd amendment isn't restricted to militias. Now that some time's past, what do you think about this post of yours? None of these claims have proven out. They were all slander. The folks that told you these things, that you found credible enough to post under your name, what do you think of them today? Do you still find them credible?
