yet here we are with high inflation in 50 years, paying double at the gas station, in a recession, horrible consumer confidence, Biden all time low approval ratings, Russia said screw you and attacked a sovereign nation and threatened us to stand down, and China about to do the same thing and now mocking us. Thank God we don't have tweets that set lefties hair on fire though.

This is what we still need to know:

1. What was in the avadavat that somehow got this judge to issue a raid that has never happened in our 200-year existence?
2. Did Trump team follow declassification procedure and is it on the inventory list? I talked to a secret service friend that was in the Whitehouse for 8 years. He told me basically everything given to the president or received from the president is deemed classified and that's no big deal. The TS or SCI material are things everyone law enforcement concerned about.
3. We're now down to specifically 1 document that is various classified/TS/SCI. We've been down this road with Hilary having 8 Top Secret documents on her personal server. We have Comey's statement on what's a misdemeanor and why mishandling is a felony, and she didn't get raided so this better be way worse or the DOJ would appear to be performing political persecution that is unprecedented and dangerous as hell.

My personal feelings is Trump was claiming lock her up over her private server and if this SCI document wasn't declassified then he needs to fall on his sword. This is starting to appear like a political move on the DOJ part and they found a 1 SCI document, and that's why they raided? The Grand Jury ended in June, they were talking to Trump team in June, and this was sooooo important they raid in August? Timeline doesn't work and why not supeona like they did last time to get the 15 boxes? This gave Trump a whole lot of persecution cred I fear and yet another political blunder. If they get Trump back in office, I will never vote anything but straight republican from here on out. We are the laughingstock of the world right now, doing the very thing we criticize other countries of doing.

Comey determined that there wasn't enough evidence to warrant an indictment of Hillary.

The DOJ is now making that determination regarding Trump, for potential violations of the espionage act, a charge far more serious than what was alleged by Clinton.

Maybe they will, maybe the won't.

But, that is the state of things, as it stands.

 

Brandon better prepares for damage control if these docs are either nothing important or just a set up by Trump and Garland took the bait. Brandon is going to say sorry many times and can Garland. When Trump wins, I hope he goes after Brandon, Pelosi, Schumer, and Garland no matter the cost.

 

So, let's say Trump took some kind of 'top secret' nuclear documents. Documents that could compromise national security. Let's say the justice department was worried that Trump would sell or give those documents to some foreign government, etc.

Obviously whatever Trump took from the White House was taken on or before January 20, 2021. Why wait a year and a half to raid his home? Why not do it the next day?

 

Trump has the damn thing. Explain why HE doesn't release the his copy ?

The reason Comey came to that decisions was due to the fact he construed there wasn't enough evidence to assure that a prosecutor would achieve a conviction if they had decided to prosecute the case. With such high valued targets, a prosecutor's legacy is a stake, and they will take far more care in their prosecutorial decisions than they would if they were deciding to prosecute you or anyone else. yes, whether we like it or not, prosecutorial discretion is not even, though they claim it otherwise. But, if you put yourself in their shoes, would you act differently? Your statement doesn't negate the reason he said that.

What former federal prosecutors would say is irrelevant, because you are not going to get objective truths from the cheap seats in the stadium. Only the guy on whose legacy is at stake, his opinion is the one that matters, noting that Comey's decision was not overruled by the AG at that time.
