Tyvm for such a substantive reply. Yes, judges are very leery of ruling against regulators. They usually have to conclude that the regulators decision was "arbitrary and capricious" to overturn them. I remember a case where a judge scolded a regulator for page after page, but in the end upheld the bureaucrats because he did not think the victim of all the arbitrary capricious errors could prevail even if given a fair hearing. I do not have the cite. My take at the time was that the judge was probably right - on the facts businessman could not have won. But the conduct of the regulator was repulsive.

Grand juries would IMO, be far better regulators than the professional bureaucrats.

To claim that Trump is like Adolf Hitler is of course an absurd falsehood. It is also an example of what Deborah Lipstadt calls "Holocaust denial".

Beyond that Hitler and the NSDAP, unlike Trump, were militantly anti-capitalist.

"The Nazi's alone supported repeated communist efforts to raise sharply the level of tax exempt wages for low income groups, reduce the tax rates for those groups, and impose heavier taxation on the wealthy." Henry Ashby Turner, Jr., "German Big Business and the Rise of Hitler," Oxford University Press, Oxford 1985, p. 66

The Nazi's also joined the communists in efforts to shorten the work day, and in efforts to stop industry lock outs, by requiring industry to pay all of the idled workers.

"The Nazis laid before the legislature several bills calling for the confiscation of 'the fortunes of the princes of the banks and the stock market" as well as all profits derived from the war, the inflation, and - later -the depression."(same source)

People who are quick to cry "Nazi!" and "Fascist" are usually uninformed.

JOURNALISM: NYT Gets Around To Reporting On Sweden’s Immigrant Crime Problem, Leaves Out A Few Key Details. “The NYT took great pains not to mention where the violence was coming from.”

“Sexual violence has been a particular problem, according to Swedish government statistics released earlier this year. The percentage of women who reported being victims of sex crimes rose from 1.4 percent in 2012 to 4.1 percent in 2016. And a 2014 study on the geography of outdoor rape in Stockholm found two-thirds of the suspects were non-Swedish citizens, according to Sunday Times correspondent Bojan Pancevski, who has reported extensively from Sweden’s immigrant communities.”

“Ironically, Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven, who criticized Trump’s comments last year, is now entertaining extraordinary measures to address the immigrant gang violence described in the NYT’s latest dispatch.”

    He owes Trump an apology.

Yes, criminals in Sweden who buy smuggled AK 47s in now receive free hand grenades.
