    this is a blanket ban on ALL non-essential businesses.

    and those businesses deemed essential must provide PPE mand maintain safe social distancing.

    now, should houses of worship been deemed "essential" as long as they require PPE and maintain 6' distance between all personnel? perhaps.

    but then YOU and folks like you would demand NO restrictions are legal!

    The States can shut down and close ANY building deemed to be structurally or in other ways unsafe. Houses or worship are not immune.

    That's unless you guys actually think houses of worship are not bound by state health & building and fire codes

    It is my belief that NO restrictions on churches are legal. I think we will get a court ruling on that soon enough. My bet stands, you willing to take it?

    Well exactly right, congregating to play and congregating to pray are different things, and these States which do not know the difference have near riots on the steps of their Capitals already.

    I think the logic is that in churches people are more intimate, closer to each other, than in a box store.

    I'm not saying I agree, but I heard somebody talking about it on TV. 8)

    They will be ruling on the facts of the lawsuit presented to them, in this case that the states cannot close all houses of worship for the corona virus as it would violate the 1st Amendment.

    You claim they can. I claim they cannot.

    Do we have a bet?

    I sense you are reluctant to do so, and I don't blame you. But I am getting tired of asking, so I won't ask again.
