He is a fantast President. He fixed the V.A. where thousands of our vets have died trying to get in and get care. Bush couldn't do it and neither could Obama. He got NATO to pony up to fix a very weak Alliance. Again something neither Bush or Obama could do. He took an economy that Obama had created, over 90% service and part time jobs. many that wouldn't pay a living wage, much less support a family and turned it into a hot diverse one, bring back hundreds of thousands of manufacturing jobs Obama said were gone and not coming back. Blacks, Hispanics and Asians have seen the lowest unemployment in their history. ISIS is all but dead except for some small hit and run groups. He has tried hard to bring out more generic drugs to try and drop the price of medicine so people don't have to chose between life saving drugs and food. Trying to bring down the price of health care. Etc. Etc.

Obama was just the kind of President you people like. Tall, good looking, nice voice. Says all of the right things. Comes off as a true stateman. But made a mess of most of the things he did. Didn't create the kind of jobs that most people need to make a living or support a family. Dragged the war with ISIS on seven years longer than it needed to. Had most of the Middle East nations hated him. No one feared him because they knew he was all bluff. He kept moving that line in the sand so no one could cross it. He constantly called out cops as being in the wrong, even before a jury could decide, his actions brought about the creation of Black Lives Matter and the murder of more than a hand full of cops. . Etc.

So yes, if I want to chose the kind of President I want, I want one that gets the job done. I don't care if he is well polished That doesn't help me or my family.

 

The Left are constantly calling him an idiot. How does an idiot get done so much more than many other Presidents couldn't do?

 

Americans never expected to see their government descend to this level of human depravity.

Trump's new rule will give businesses and workers better health care options


When President Trump took office, small businesses and hard-working, middle-class families were finding it increasingly difficult to afford health insurance. The Trump administration has already taken significant steps to help, and Thursday we took another one. A new Trump administration rule will provide an estimated 800,000 businesses a better way to offer coverage and millions of workers a better way to obtain coverage, through the expansion of Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs).

HRAs are employer-funded arrangements that workers use to pay for medical expenses. The Obama administration forbade workers in the individual insurance market to use HRAs to pay for coverage — significantly impeding employer flexibility and worker choice. Trump's new rule undoes this misguided restriction.
Starting on January 1, 2020, employers will be able to offer their workers HRAs to buy individual market coverage for themselves and their families. The administration's new rule addresses a major inequity by, in effect, providing the same tax advantage that traditional employer-sponsored group plans receive — exclusion of premiums from federal income or payroll taxes — to coverage that workers in the individual market purchase from an HRA.
The rule will significantly expand worker options since 80% of firms that provide insurance currently offer only one type of plan. Now, workers will be able to use tax-advantaged money from their employers to buy coverage of their choosing. This new flexibility will allow people to maintain their coverage when they switch jobs.

More Markets & Economy Perspectives
In particular, this new rule should help small business workers by making it possible for employers to fund coverage with less hassle and cost than maintaining a traditional group health plan. Between 2010 and 2018, the proportion of workers at firms with three to 49 workers covered by an employer plan fell by more than 25%. This rule should help reverse that decline. The rule also makes it easier for small businesses to compete with larger businesses for talent. (Read More)

Never has been. It depends on what you want to give up for your newly minted right. The only democrat that has been honest about it has been Bernie saying that everyone's taxes will have to be increased. Then, every country that has implemented single payer the system becomes more important than the patient. Longer wait times, less hospital equipment, denial of procedures, denial of certain drugs, etc.. It also becomes the largest budget item for the country. As it is with current mandatory spending, the entitlements and debt service are predicted to be 86% of the budget. Discretionary spending will be 12% with the military on 1/2 of that.

So the honest discussion is not happening and the dems are playing you saying taxes on the wealthy will pay for all their fantasies. Some are even lying knowing it will not happen because it would be so disruptive.
