What do you think impeachment is?

So you believe Levandowski is above the law... I disagree.
Levandowski is not being impeached. Trump is. And the Presidential power to pardon does not apply to anybody who commits a crime (perjury, contempt, ...) against the United States in the course of Trump's impeachment case.

You'll accept that if it happens?

The only one I brought up is Trump.

"Common"??? My God! Where are you from that you consider this "common".

Not legal! Michael Cohen is in jail for it. And soon Individual 1 will be too.... whoever that is....

So, you are claiming the US will become a dictatorship if Trump is elected?

Our Constitution already HAS failed to provide those checks and we already ARE at his mercy....almost It Trump wins in 2020 I think we definitely will be, and I talking formal big time changes, like having the Congress call for another Constitutional Convention. You know there has been a movement to do that INDEPENDENT of Trump. Imagine if he gets ahold of that.

If he loses in 2020, and all indications are that he will UNLESS he gets a big sympathy vote when the Senate refuses to impeach him, then we can send the ****er to prison and begin to try and repair the damage he's done..

By all means continue the INVESTIGATIONS. Let everyone see what a Sleazeball CROOK,he really is, but do it to run the clock out. Don't give him time to start screaming "witch hunt" and "fake news"

Dems have this tendency to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by sacrificing what works for the ideal. We can''t afford to do that this time

    What damage has Trump done?

How has Trump acted any different from any president in the past as far as being a "dictator"?

No, that's going to happen to you in 2020. You keep going on like we all simply LURVE the Orange God like you do when we just cleaned your clock in 2018. Wake up, listen to something besides FAUX or talk to someone besides crazy Uncle Larry. There are people in the world who DON'T have a basement full of guns and are not anxiously awaiting the day they can push grandma into traffic and then get sick and die under a bridge after going bankrupt.

That he could be prosecuted for while being President. He did clearly obstruct justice on 10 separate occasions and will be duly tried, convicted and incarcerated for these in 2021.. Stop ignoring reality and making up your own.

Yes, I know. I was responding to Golem who said Trump could not pardon Lewandowski because pardon authority does not apply to impeachments.

Your words were, "Republicans were too incompetent to prove that Clinton (whoever that is) was guilty of any of those things," but whatever you say.

How many non-disclosures have been executed by candidates or politicos in say the past 35 years?

I appreciate your diligent research, but Cohen did not go to jail for making payments for the NDA. He pleaded guilty to it even though it was not a crime and the SDNY made certain that Cohen's sentence was combined so no one could ascribe any part of his sentence to any single crime (or non-crime as it were.)

Trump didn't obstruct justice. That's just a left-wingers wet dream.

The entire proceeding is out of context and actually being conducted as an outlier to precedence.

First, the house voted not to proceed with Impeachment.
Second, since the House didn't vote to proceed with impeachment, the jurisdiction remains solely with the Senate to fact find.
And as a result, the House committee is operating in contempt of the 1993 Supreme Court ruling specifying the the Senate has the sole authority to collect evidence.

Actually, every single Democrat sitting on the House judicial committee could be denied being placed on primary ballots for misconduct while serving in the House.

Their, "No One is Above the Law," is meaningless.

I'm going to take the opinions of about a thousand former States Attorneys over yours, thankee.

I've noted that you are TRULY one of those who would defend Trump for shooting people dead on 5th Avenue. You'd just shout "Fake News" while helping to drag off the corpse.

According to Rodb, all the AG's in the DOJ at that time had more than half an ounce of sense............ so there you have it.

Except Holder's contempt charge had at least an inkling of substance behind it. Contempt charges for not showing up at the House's combination gong show, kangaroo court, clown act have none. Even with some substance a judge ruled Holder's contempt citation was "unnecessary" but still ordered Holder to turn over documents.

Your partisan opinion is meaningless. Failing to respond to a subpoena is worthy of contempt and prosecution, on it's face.
