Lewandowski marks the start of testimonies in Trump's impeachment process. Will he cooperate or will he risk going to jail and obstruct the investigation to protect his "savior", hoping for a Presidential pardon later?

We will know this afternoon. Either way, the ball is rolling...

Problem is Trump cannot pardon in the case of impeachment.

Does it matter what anyone says? The left in the house will vote in favor, the GOP will vote against, it moves to the senate and gets squashed. In the end, the public who never wanted the impeachment votes for Trump again like they did for Clinton, and probably gives the house back to the GOP.

Of course it matters. Voters will know more about what happened. If Americans vote for a criminal after knowing about his crimes, then it's settled: we deserve to have a proven criminal in the White House. And the Constitution and the laws go out the window.... I'd say that kinda matters.

Hilary will never be in the White House. You might as well give up that fantasy.

They voted for Clinton, criminal with major crimes linked to him like rape, and sexual assault. The Russia gate was shown to be false and now you want to impeach cause of tweets. Yeah, good luck. Most lefties thought Palin said "I can see Russia from my house". You think they will give a damn about this faux impeachment?

    Who's Clinton?
I said "proven". Republicans were too incompetent to prove that Clinton (whoever that is) was guilty of any of those things.

It's sad the democratic politicians don't learn. Every time they go after Trump they form a circular firing squad. And the media is right there supplying ammunition.

Dude, impeachment is far from proven "guilty". Clinton got impeached at the house, and then it died in the senate, just like this will. Trump will be no more "proven Guilty" than Clinton was, even though Bill admitted to lying.

You referred to a criminal in the White House, I assumed that must be who you are talking about. I am sorry, I was not more clear about which Clinton would qualify, but that makes no difference since they both fit that category.

    Hah!

Look... if you're going to try to derail the thread by changing the subject, because you know that this subject is a loser for you, the least you could do is get your facts straight. Clinton's legal problems started after he was acquitted by the Senate.

    As will Trump's.

In the course of the discussions we have had that I can recall, I believe the score is about Facts 19 - Your Assumptions 0

Hopefully you'll learn a lesson from that. But I don't assume anything.

Who cares? Everything we need to know about Corey is on the Mueller Report. Congress just wants him on record as another example of Trump's abuse of power by stonewalling the investigation. And to speed up the process in which a judge will ultimately rule that this made up "privilege" that Trump made us, does not exist. Should come in handy to have when the most relevant witnesses (including Trump) are called.

The dems are losing at the ballot box and they realize they can't defeat Trump in 2020 so they are trying to keep the Russian lie alive and also keep the word impeachment in the news on a daily basis. Even a 5th grader can see through their phony efforts. Sad. How can any intelligent person support the democrats?

This is the only thing they can discuss without attacking eachother for not virtue signalling enough.

There is a respectably simple logic behind 'stick with what you're good at' I suppose.

What abuse of power? What stonewalling?

    Now for the real story...

Sounds like a big nothing burger from the dems...all they were doing is asking questions about his PRIOR testimony and interviews that he gave! Then refused to allow him a copy of the report to refresh his memory! Sounds like all they were doing was digging and trying to set up a perjury trap.

That is exactly what they were trying to do and he and his lawyers, excuse the pun, out FOXed them. Tucker Carlson should have a few chuckles about this tonight.
While all those jerks were in a room together, I am surprised they didn't try to drag Kavanaugh into the fray. Maybe they saw the light after the NYT spent the day tripping over their collective dicks today on leftie media pointing the finger at each other.

Besides the ones that we already know about from the Mueller Report, now we have the letter that Lewandosky read explicitly instructing him to stonewall Congress
