You need to check your facts it was a Dr. that was accused of promoting that but he "live on TV said he never said it and never heard anyone including Trump suggest it. But in a way some Colleges are doing it by keeping students with Covid on Campus instead of sending them home to infect their Communities. Personally I think it is good idea to do so as long as they wear masks and forced to social distance and quarantine.

I ask because all the posts are from one person and the view counts are low; a dozen here a dozen there. If it is, you might want to check site rules or ask a mod and see if what you're doing is allowed or not.

Yes, yet it does not justify making everyone paranoid of the outside world. Here immunity without a vaccine is beneficial, simply in a different way. While a fair bit of death is involved, it does build a firewall of passive immunity amongst a certain population. But given much more have successfully recovered in the US than died, obtaining the amount of deaths to reach herd immunity status seems unlikely.

It’s fairly known that Norway reached herd immunity in 2009-2010.

 

I have decided to remove it anyway since it appears to be a violation of rule 13. I guess I'll just have to put a bit more time into common rebuttals then.

No I didn't and honestly I don't intend to either. I've already made considerable and lengthy posts on the subjects, for example masks, and I'd just be copy/pasting myself. Except its been almost a year of this now and frankly I've got limited interest and mental motivation to combat the same myths over and over.

And Sweden has reached herd immunity with Covid. Several locales in the US have reached herd immunity, but few talk about it.

Herd immunity is a biological fact, but the number at which it is achieved is a theoretical calculation only.

Those manufacturing and selling vaccines claim that it cannot be achieved without a vaccine, but that is sophistry, and they have a vested interest.
