Perfect context.Comparing how Obama was treated and still
    is { After Proof he Lied about not spying on Trump & Co. }
    and how Trump is treated.
Plus how McCain is being treated.
All based on what this already acknowledged CORRUPT
    Mainstream media report and insist.

If Trump released a tribute to McCain, wouldn't it be seen (and slammed) by the left as despicable, insincere, and nothing more than a charade by him?

So Trump voted "thumbs down" on a John McCain tribute? Liberals now posthumously elevating McCain to demi-god status demanding "tributes"? :confuse: Karma and irony ... I love everything about this thread!

Yes, and it is easy to see why Trump's fans just love him to death.

John McCain defines the American warrior. Do you know how many people on earth could withstand the torture he endured? His MULTIPLE escape attempts? His YEARS as a POW?

He deserves more than I could ever give him.

No ... hardly. He was roundly considered the Darling of the Media.
In fact, as Rush Limbaugh just sited in his first hour today,
McCain openly considered the Media his Base when he ran against
    Bush 43 in 2000.

How did he manage it.You are aware his Father and Grandfather
were Both Admirals. You mean that never occurred to his captors
    at the Hanoi Hilton.

You realize that he ENDED his time as a POW at Hanoi? He was living in a bamboo casket for years with his neck tied to a stake in the ground.

John McCain the veteran -vs- John McCain the politician. Pay him all the respects you think he deserves. I'd say McCain's service in Nam received sufficient praise over the last 40 yrs ... you opinion may vary.

How come no mention of his act aboard the USS Forestal Aircraft
Carrier. How did that horrific Fire start.? Explain how it started.
If not for McCain's " hot shot " habit of " wet starting " his fighter
jet which led to a rocket dropping off a fighter jet and going off.
    134 sailors died.
How exactly did that fatal Fire start.

....and that would make his darling media cry foul even louder should Trump have released a tribute laden statement on McCain.

Yes ... I'm a veteran myself. No ones depriving John of a befitting send off. I can appreciate his service and sacrifice, but I don't worship him. McCain isn't the only GI who was ever captured and tortured. Lot's of POW's did, and how many MIA? McCain got far more attention than the 1000's of GI's tortured by captors. John had my respect while he deserved it ...

As a veteran, he should always have your respect. He went through far more than we did.

Certainly, the leftist media hate Trump more than they love McCain.

Wow! This is incredible. Are the Republicans in Congress going to just take a pass at this, too? I'm guessing they will. They can't stop licking Trump's boots. A few might say how disappointed they are, but they will do nothing.

Just as in the case of last week. Trump's former manager was declared guilty on eight counts and will spend the rest of his life in prison. Trump's personal lawyer pleaded guilty and implicated Trump in two felonies. Trump's friend, the publisher of the National Enquirer, was granted immunity and is testifying against Trump. The CFO of the Trump Organization for 40 years and Trump's tax preparer was granted immunity and is testifying against Trump. Trump continued his year long assault on the A.G. he appointed with more infantile insults.

To all this, a handful of Congressional Republicans said "Tsk, tsk." Now this from our Presidential draft dodger.

Trump deserves less respect than a pimple on McCain's ass.

Without question. But as a volunteer, I assume you are, as I was, isn't that sacrifice something you've already committed to? Prior service and extreme sacrifice is commendable, but IMO it doesn't excuse future betrayals of public trust. McCain's service earned him a lifetime appointment to the Senate. His "thumbs down" was a slap in the face to the constituents he promised ACA repeal to. Distinguished serviceman yes ... reliable rep? Not so much.

I have asked Trump's fans this question a number of times. I have yet to get an answer. Many don't even try to answer the question. Others just repeat themselves. Here is the question.

What did the "lelftist media" get wrong? Observing last week's developments and now the flag raising issue, what was inaccurate in their reporting? Be specific. Generalized characterizations do not count.

Sorry, that's two questions. Walk your talk. Tell us the inaccuracies.

Again ... How did McCain get into Annapolis. If not his Daddy and
    Grandaddy.Plus his graduating bottom of his class { 895 out of 899 }
Plus his pranks as cadet.McCain was also awful quick to deride
Bush 43 and his tax cuts.McCain was entirely wrong to do so.
Those Bush 43 tax cuts { for everyone paying income tax } solved
the Clinton-inherited Recession and also set a record for the Treasury
    in tax receipts.

This may be me, but I couldn't give two craps if he was a socialist Democrat who wanted to completely reform the US.

He was a hero, fought for our country, and survived something that none of us on this board would have.
