This is my confusion with the whole gun thing. The place you need 'guns' to protect yourself if feel unsafe, you are not allowed to have them or not allowed in, ie to clubs. Where after a few hours, most people are drugged up to their eyeballs.

So how do gun carriers handle that? or do they not go to clubs?

This is discussed often among the gun community here and what you will find is that most carry holders will not drug themselves up or drink to excess if they carry just because it is a their responsibility and if you do anything stupid, you loose your license, in most cases forever.

I will message you a gun forum address local here where you can read what is happening locally. You will find as many opinions as you do here but it will be mostly from gun owners. You can get a better idea of the culture.

Carry holders are allowed into clubs?

(*)(*)(*)(*) now that is dangerous. But doesnt the security stop them going in? They don't even allow a few pills here or weed.

Depends on the club. A business has the right to ban guns but must post a sign to that effect. It is still not illegal to carry one in but if you are told by the business you must leave, and you don't, then you commit trespass and can be arrested. It is illegal in some States, but not where I live.

The problem in clubs is usually young thugs that are not licensed. In that case they are already breaking the law.

In Texas it used to be illegal to carry in a restaurant. What changed that was when a guy walked into a Luby's restaurant and just started shooting people one by one. One gal watched while her father was shot, then her mother shot in the head while she held her father. She had a gun but it was in the car. He killed something like 20 people.

I mean dance clubs. Techno, psychadelic trance, even the old school jungle vibes. Where it would be insanity to allow anyone with a gun in, due to the amount of drugs and the club dealers selling to the party goers.

Since I do not know where you live, I cannot comment. I suspect you prefer it that way - but let's test it.

    Where do you live, Zod?

Nah - I live in a free society, which is one that comes with risks, and reward.

I don't carry my gun when I go places like that; it stays in my car in a seat holster.

    Where did you see that?

Uk here, although the same view across europe, still not allowed guns into clubs. Also i have spoken to americans on different forums, who enjoy my taste in music. They dont carry or own guns either, but go out to enjoy themselves.

Maybe this view is limited to this forum, as does seem overly gun pro.

the gun thing, was in a old jungle club, lazerdrome. For a time a mecca for ravers. Until was destroyed by the owners own incompetence. Their choice in security was dismall. One of the security bit the fingers off a customer. That and the constant police raids, it closed down.

But the music was superb, bass so loud the walls vibrated. And the drugs, oh my god, the drugs....

It's funny, I don't know one person that owns a gun. It's really strange that they have lived their whole lives with out needing one eh? I don't know one person that's been in a situation where they've been confronted with a gun either. Maybe the reason is every Tom, Dick & Harry in Canada isn't running around with a gun in their pocket...
In the area where I live, pretty much all the death by guns is the drug gangs offing each other.

It might be due to this forum, it seems a meeting place for pro gun forum members. Although how it works in reality i am still not sure.

Drugs and gangs, same here. The problem with the drug culture to average citizen is robbery or assault.

I have lived my whole life and never needed a gun but own then just the same. My house has never been burgled but I still lock my doors just the same. Very similar scenarios, just different attitudes about safety.

In this USA I try to believe that the country tries to uphold personal freedom and preservation over Society.

do you really want people to have guns at 6am on a sunday morning? After a night out on drugs and booze.

A brave preservation of society, i give it that.

You need to give some credit for people to have brains like you credit yourself. Criminals will do what they want, it is citizens like you and I that only worry about those things. Law abiding citizens owning guns are not the problem.

    Society changes.

    NO IRISH
    NO NEGROS
    NO IMMIGRANTS
    NO *****S

If you recall American Past Societies they held large stigmas towards other groups... The Individual prospered thus the Stigma was destroyed. I'd much rather have Society be reformed/destroyed a thousand times to accept Individuals no matter their color/preference in every scenario. Diverting back into Society>Individual is a form of regression... Those are times when the State/Group thought their combined will was more important than that of the Individual. Why regress?

I mean a normal weekend. Where millions of people go out to enjoy themselves in different clubs. they drink too much. Taste different drugs and by the early morning, In no state to drive a car and nevermind carry a gun.

So out of that situation right there the rights for all Men/Women to carry a Firearm is void due to the possibility of an alcoholic/drug brawl resulting in the death(s) due to a Firearm? I understand the stupidity of the situation presented if people were to draw arms but, the fact remains you shouldn't limit a person's overall Freedom by such examples.

Case: There is a gay parade in California going down the Street and one guy from the crowd screams "(*)(*)(*)!". Two guys take off towards the guy to confront him but, it ends up in a physical confrontation resulting in a Riot or Brawl. Should Homosexuals be allowed to have a Parade if there is a chance of violence occurring? In the end there are some who are willing to cut off their 1st Amendment rights simply because of the possibility of violence occurring.

You must know that in most states - Texas for sure - it is illegal to carry a gun into a bar or other establishment that make most of its money from the sale of alcohol. If a person is stopped while driving drunk anyone in the car that has a gun, licensed or not will be arrested, lose their license, their gun and the right to have a license for ever.

Just a note: A police surveillance recording has been released clearly showing Zimmerman just after the indecent with no identifiable nose or head injuries.

Interesting how you jump on something as if you are an expert without any knowledge whatsoever, but then, why should today be any different than any other day.
