So! apparently there has to be some Bi-Partisan support to Impeach a President according to the Constitution, but this current Impeachment Farse goes right down Political lines, where Democrats in the House are voting for Impeachment and Republicans Against. So! have the Hypocritical Democrats that are screaming about their Constitutional Duty to Impeach just ignored this part of the Constitution, because of their Trump Derangement Syndrome.

It's like their changing the Rules as they rush this thing forward. Sounds like Desperation as November 3rd 2020 gets closer and closer.

    From the article....

"treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.” Neither are high or low crimes or misdemeanors. Neither are mentioned within the Constitution.

Both are so vague and open ended that they could be applied in partisan fashion by a majority of the House against almost any president from the opposing party. Both are precisely what the Framers had rejected at their Constitutional Convention. Both raise the “greatest danger,” in the words of Alexander Hamilton, that the decision to impeach will be based on the “comparative strength of parties,” rather than on “innocence or guilt.”
That is an excellent assessment, but unfortunately the Democrats have found the U.S. Constitution to be garbage for a very long time. They don't care that they are making the new standard so low that any President can easily be Impeached now.

Absent a prior decision by the courts, contempt of congress cannot exist because a person can only be compelled to testify pursuant to a valid subpoena, and Congress does not decide if a subpoena is valid.

There's only one thing a Democrat cares about: power.

Power to do whatever they want.

Nancy Pelosi admitted that they were planning on Impeachment right after Trump was elected in 2016. The Ukraine is irrelevant, because it's been the Democrats plan all along, since they were so Shell Shocked at the outcome of the 2016 election.

So the Dems can't even claim a moral victory because everyone can see right through this scam.

Nothing has stuck to the wall....

The Dems are committing a massive FRAUD and they will reap the consequences in 2020.

....by whatever means. Dershowitz will probably be a part of the Senate process.

Democrats refused to engage the Judiciary to enforce their subpoenas. So they have no argument. There goes one of their two charges down the toilet.

That leaves "Abuse of Power", which is also not a crime. This is such a joke.
