You could be right, but you could also be wrong. Not every psycho came from a bum house, Hinkley, I believe, came from a decent family, and so did the Unabomber as I previously mentioned.

But if this kid is the product of trailer trash meth or gang banging parents, then yes, I would agree with you. But all we know is right now their son just threw his life away and we don't know why. Because of the parent's loss, I'm giving them the benefit of doubt until shown why they're partially to blame. Fair enough?

    Gladly...

    http://www.latimes.com/business/hiltzik/la-fi-hiltzik-gun-research-funding-20160614-snap-story.html

Remember when cigarettes were killing people in untold numbers each year. And yet, the tobacco industry and the Republican in congress argued that cigarettes were not the killer and even that nicotine was not addictive. Finally, science won out and the Neanderthal GOP congressional members relented. What happened? The truth came out about cigarettes and more controls lead to less deaths.

Personally, I remember arguing with some of the Republican naysayers about the dangers of cigarettes. Now they are the ones dead, dying with lunch cancer, or suffering every day with COPD.

Why does the GOP want to hold on to their old, tired outdated myths. Oh wait, I guess it is the check that the NRA delivers to the very stupid GOP memebers.

Now, YOU CRAWL BACK UNDER YOUR PREHISTORIC ROCK!

Not as long as the NRA stands against gun violence being studied in congress.

Most school shootings seem to happen in states that have relaxed gun laws.

We can't really say that yet. What if he was on prescription drugs and the parents were just doing what they thought was right by following doctor's advice?

I guess he thinks Congress has never heard of the 2nd Amendment.

I agree totally. The wife and I were foster parents for many years and saw so many kids that were motivated by environment, genetics, and circumstances beyond anyone's control. You cannot just blame the parents. Been there...done that.

6 out of 9 kids in my family were put into foster homes. It was a bad deal. My dad was very, very, abusive. So abusive I'm ashamed to say. And a very bad drunk. There were some serious psychological problems with many of the kids. And it stays with them. One just hanged himelf in his garage last year.

What does the 2nd Amendment have to do with the issue did you really state that? Are you unaware of a thing called the Bill of Rights?

I didn't ask that. The person I replied to did. But I did post the link where Congress has blocked the CDC from studying gun violence, which pretty much proves you posted a falsehood in your earlier post.

    You want to try again?

Violated a handful of gun control laws before firing the first shot.

not to mention the school's invitation to danger-free slaughter, 'Gun Free Zone'

Hey how come this isn't on the headline of any news site?

It was the banner headline on foxnews.com earlier but now its gone.

At the same time and at this time CNN HUFFPO MSNBC aren't giving it big hype.

I wonder why everybody seems to be ignoring this.

Why are you so quick to judge the parents? Not everything is a parent's fault. Are you going to blame yourself for your kids shortcomings?? If they don't have the brain to finish high school, is it your fault too? I know plenty of people of parents who are upright citizens, but their children can be quite a monster.

Proof the mental health care in America is lacking both in medical science and legislation.

    Because he was a nutjob?
