People get caught in the middle, but that's just the nature of war. Ultimately, you have to pick a side.

I pick the side I relate to. He picked the one he relates to. Thankfully, my choice won't likely be fatal. Is it fair? I guess not. That's life though.

 

That is where you are completely wrong and that is the difference between me and you,I do not support war and I do not support people getting killed but you are there cheer leading. I wish there were no wars and I wish those poor American kids who have died were a live and at home with their loved ones.

 

I don't support war either, but I also don't believe in pulling punches during war just because of some perceived civility. We create rules for war, but they're mostly irrelevant when fighting an asymmetrical one.

The whole concept behind war crimes is pretty silly too when you consider that all it really comes down to is that war crimes are what the loser of a war gets charged with -- not necessarily the side that commits the most atrocities.

It's a big joke where governments pretend they can regulate mass carnage. You can't -- not consistently anyway.
