Unmarked Feds in Portland Kidnapping Protesters

Nobody was kidnapped. The correct verb is arrested for vandalizing federal government assets. The federal police force was Homeland Security, the appropriate agency to protect domestic federal assets. If the mayor of Portland doesn't like, he can decide to control Antifa so he wouldn't have to entertain federal officers.

 

It's great, isn't it? The one thing that these people have used to justify their guns was to protect the American people from unconstitional power of the federal govt; but here we have them grabbing people off the street - kidnapping - without any due process, and where are the 2A people? AWOL, of course, in case they get hurt. *******.

Law enforcement should go after people damaging property, not snatching random people off the street. This is not complicated.

The more people protests against these law enforcement invasions, the more Trump will insist on a crack-down against these protests.

Then Trump has what he wants; the anarchy that will disrupt the 2020 election (in cities where he otherwise might be outvoted, democrat-wise.)

 

Philadelphia has said that if these Feds go against the law in Philadelphia, they themselves will face that law.

Larry Krasner District Autorney of Philadelphia on Democracy Now,today, seems to find the legality of it somewhat iffy though there are times when they do come in due to some specific reason. Either he or someone else said it was really the first time not in a civil war that they had come in like this without the agreement of the State. Krasner was very careful in what he said and said, though of course he did not have all the details, but it did look as if some of the actions taken by these Feds in Portland were illegal. He also pointed out that they seemed to be acting as Agent Provocateurs by interfering in peaceful protests and shooting people who were no danger with rubber bullets and taking people off the streets and away in unmarked vans. He says this behaviour by the feds gets the people angry and they start acting in a more violent way which the Feds then use as an excuse for even more violence against them. Krasner says Philadelphia has no problems with violence. There are some protests going on but things are peaceful and there certainly is no need for any outside intervention. However he also says we should be careful not to over state this. In Chicago they have put in 150 Feds. This would amount to 1% of the police force. He says therefore he believes it is not for any interest in creating civil war, which he believes Trump does not even have the intelligence/imagination to desire but simply to take things away from his dismal behaviour re Covid19.

Just imagine how the US would respond if they saw another country using unmarked vans to remove people for no known reason on the street and deliberately shooting rubber bullets at people's heads when they are no danger as well as shooting at medics trying to help the people. Even if the guy from Philadelphia is right and this is just Trump trying to please his fans when he does not have the ability to do much having sent so few in, they are acting illegally and they are harming people, some probably with life changing injuries and most of all allowing this gives them the right of prescidence to come back in again possibly in far greater force.

 

Why do you think arrests are random? It is certainly illogical that they would do that.

off the streets, then sooner or latter some of those people began to DISSAPEAR.
