Um. No. I have no children, but someone (or multiple someones) in my family will receive my home after I assume room temperature.
You feel it is o.k. to let the betrayed Natives sit on reservations and be third class Americans, although they came here first? Think, if we would all start now and will our property back to the First Nation, wouldn't that be the right thing to do to correct a wrong?
"They" didn't come anywhere first. The people who did died centuries ago. Today's natives were mostly born here like the rest of us. I've only known one (at least that I know of) as an adult, and he too owned a home that he bought and paid for.
God given under a covenant that they broke. Israel didn't take anything it was handed to them by America and The Brits. Why so they can turn it into another casino or bingo room that never benefits the indian people?
LOL, I don't know how these two subjects got put together. One is about Israel the other American Indian.
I remember it well after returning I was stationed at Fort Lee, Va. The first night we got to Richmond( college town) a few of us went downtown to have dinner and we had eggs and rotten veggies thrown at us from passing cars.
Sorry that happened. I took up for yall when I could and visited the VA when I could too when taking a vet there we went to see others. I did have the pleasure of rolling up my window on one of their heads in St.Augustine though. Didn't hurt him much just got his head out of my window. The creep was at the Lion Bridge screaming baby killers with his infected cohort's with dead flowers in their nasty hair.
Well, you earned no glory in Vietnam. I don't really know why you had to go there. Was it again about fighting Communism? However I did read The Pale Horse by William Cooper, who was later shot by FBI agents. He must have known something!
You don't have to agree with the war to help your troops who had no choice and those who did join were lied to or just young and naive. Today is different in some ways they have more info than VN kids did. Who will teach the young now? And who will stop the wars? I have no idea. I just feel terrible when I see them at doctors office. I respect the troops but not the wars and yes you can do that.
I heard that Canada took in a lot of Vietnam draft dodgers. I'm very glad they did. Canada is or was a decent country. I think that little amnesty was later abolished. Probably under pressure from Washington. Big hug for all the troops of Vietnam and WWII, including the German soldiers...
The vast majority of thoses bases' personnel are the guests of gracious hosts. The exceptions are the result of an attack on the US by inhabitants of the region.
And for every draft dodger during the Vietnam war who fled to Canada ...a Canuk crossed the border legally into the USA on a tourist visa not on an immigration visa and joined the U.S. military to serve in Vietnam. 20,000 Canucks served in the U.S. military during the Vietnam War era. Canadian citizens along a few other foreign nationals are allowed to serve in the U.S. military without being an immigrant Limey's, Aussies and Canucks can serve, ...Mexicans, Chi-coms, French, Kenyans cant legally serve. 20,000 Canadians enlisted; at least 134 killed http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/briti...the-canadians-who-fought-in-vietnam-1.3304440 .
The article says: "the presidents agreed...", which means both the US and Afghan president thought it would be good for the national security of both nations. The article doesn't state that the US was, is, or will be extracting minerals from Afghanistan. It basically says the presidents, and an unnamed Pentagon official in a 2007 memo, thought the extraction would be good. Even if extraction will occur, there are no numbers or other facts in the article that would indicate that the agreement was anything other than a mutual trade deal benefiting both countries. The article comes from a media company based in socialist Venezuela, a known opponent of the US in international affairs. Your accusations are baseless.
WOW, that's the first time I am hearing such..., I would like to say "nonsense", but let me check myself: You are right! Lots of websites. Here is one: Excerpt... Prior to the war, Canada allowed the U.S Air Force to practice carpet-bombing techniques at air force bases in Suffield, Alta., and North Battleford, Sask. Agent Orange, a herbicide used to defoliate the jungles of southeast Asia during the war was tested at CFB Gagetown, N.B. More here: http://www.princegeorgecitizen.com/...a-played-active-role-in-vietnam-war-1.1030949 ------------- With that Canada is also a War Criminal!!
You are right, Global Citizen, it can and could be understood so, that they meant the national security of both Nations. I figured it would only be for the US as payment for the cost of having assisted and still going to assist the Afghan country. If you would read on, you will find mentioned the two Jewish owned US companies, of which one will do the extracting and the other one the guarding. As to the source of my link, I didn't check. There are several sources with pretty much all the same wording, seems to come from Reuters. So, stay calm! Although it is not CNN or Fox news, it doesn't mean any other source tells lies! Here, randomly selected another source: http://bbsnews.net/2017-09-22/us-to...nistan-to-defray-cost-of-us-assistance/130719 Excerpt: Now, isn't that ever so sweet of Mr. Trump to be so concerned and helpful to the Afghans? Usually, in a war, the victim-loser gets nothing - the winner takes it all!
September 30, 2017 Pakistan – Russia supporting Afghan Taliban, US is watching Pakistan’s response: Jim Mattis ... “Pakistan, Russia, and Iran” are assisting the Taliban. Forget mining the minerals for now! https://timesofislamabad.com/pakist...ing-pakistans-response-jim-mattis/2017/09/30/
