Vermont Bistro Scolded for Removing Its Bacon Sign

If you write the line......."We are Americans not Muslims" then you are ignorant of what it means to be both.

 

It's not like some ammo maker came out with a bacon flavored .45 rd now is it? I could possibly see that as being offensive. but would still buy a case.

Does it also apply to the business owner who took it down? A customer complained he responded. There was no legal action for him to take it down.

No, the market would be a majority of people complaining about this sign, not two people who have probably never eaten there.

Albertson's Market (now Savemart in some places) took down their isle sign a few years back...the one that said "MEXICAN FOOD" they replaced it with "HISPANIC FOOD". But ya know what? It's Mexican food. Tortillas, Salsas, refried beans, mole, etc. are Mexican foods..not Hispanic foods. They originated in Mexico. Not Seville or Havana or San Juan, Puerto Rico. M-E-X-I-C-O, Mexican food..Is it not politically correct to say Mexican food? Or Mexican, period? Then a lot of Mexican restaurants owned and operated by Mexicans better get busy re-doing their signs..cause the liberals will get em eventually..they apparently have a problem with Mexicans

If the business owners made a decision to take down the highly offensive "Bacon" sign, that's fine. They're the owners of a private establishment, and they're decision is their own to make. But if they did happen to decided to take a stand against this idiotic pc bull(*)(*)(*)(*), I bet you my bottom dollar there would be enough people that would be more than happy to eat there, just to prove a point.

Tell me, why is it that about 1% of the population is able to pressure the government to have same sex marriage? Because it's not 2 people. It's a lot more people.
