So what part of "you don't always want negative publicity" did you not understand?

If you're point is that sometimes negative publicity is a good thing, and I say something that agrees with you, why not just come out and say that we agree to the exact same thing?

 

We are not saying the same thing. You are assuming they will get negative publicity for not taking down the sign.

 

It's considered negative publicity if a business doesn't do something that a group wants. It might be a subjective thing, but here it's pretty cookie cutter.

 

Who cares what vegans and Islamo's think and snivel about. If it was me, I would have gotten a bigger sign with lights and pig sounds.

 

Just look in exclusively white neighborhoods. Not only are they racist but hypocrites.

Vegans and Muslims ? Oh please, like they would even be customers anyways. The owners are spineless for even considering taking the sign down. I would have laughed at the complaint and went on with the day as normal.

Meanwhile, I suppose that if the bacon sign has any effect on business, the most profitable approach to the sign will get adopted.

 

It shouldn't matter, but I doubt there are enough to Muslims, Jews or Vegans to make up the difference if all the bacon lovers go in boycott mode.

Not sure if thats even worth comparing....either
A- Christians may like porn as much as non Christians.
B- Christians don't don't frequent the establishment looking for Bibles and get all huffy if they don't find any.
