It's not a "double standard." Blacks have a different experience, historically, in America versus Whites or anyone else. If you try to find a prevalent use of the term monkey to negatively describe Whites, you'll notice it's hard to find it. It doesn't exist.

    That's a double standard.

Blacks want special treatment from society.

It's not a double standard, it's recognizing that different groups have different experiences from each other. They don't want different treatment, they would rather not be called (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)s. I guess that's too hard to ask. It's funny how those that rail against these types of things ("special treatment", etc.) are the same people calling them (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)s.

    We got it.

Blacks believe they are not demanding special treatment even as they tell us that their side can call white people monkey's but white people cannot call them a monkey.

That's completely illogical for blacks to demand respect for themselves that they are not willing to give to others.

He was talking about the white half of Obama. So I am not offended and will buy the t-shirt and bumper sticker to proclaim it to the world.

They only appear that way to lazy Obama voters on welfare - or their rich upper-class apologists on the left.

And all because the Tea Party wants to reduce the size of government and stop paying people for doing nothing instead of working.

I don't think anyone should be offended at someone calling Newt Gingrich a monkey because he isn't one. He looks more like an Elf than a monkey. Just kidding but I think there is a fine line between joking about someone and being offensive. Joking is saying someone looks like something because they do and it's done in jest. Saying someone is a monkey because of their race is meant to be hateful plain and simple. Axelrod was dead wrong in calling Newt that.

another example of racism in the right wing, no one calls the President a Monkey no one

that is despicable and racist against the high commander in chief and they may soon face executive orders for criminal punishment

Oh yeah. I can definitely see Obama breaking out the Predator drones on this guy, just because he called Obama and his children some bad names on his Facebook.

But Axelrod did call Newt a monkey.

Not once but several times and Obama has not fired him.

That makes it OK for anyone to call Obama a monkey too.

Indeed, it appears the topic will go unaddressed.

I am not sure what Gingrich has to do with a tea party politician in Carson.

Which is an odd justification as Caucasians have not historically been racially denigrated by being called monkeys.

Any "race" should feel denigrated for being referred to as a monkey, which implies de-evolution.

I am sorry, but I have to disagree.

African Americans have historically been denigrated by being likened to apes and monkeys. Caucasians have not.
