I am going to have to disagree with you here.

I am against anyone, left, right, or center, calling for the killing of the president, his wife, and his two daughters.

I am also against anyone left, right, or center using racially derogatory language.

Then you agree that David Axelrod should be fired?

This Julio guy does not represent Ron Paul's ideology. If he did, his mind would not be wired to make those kind of statements. Obviously he nothing more than a joke. He needs to find a new path that will lead him out of the trailer park.

Once again, Caucasians have not been historically denigrated by being referred to as monkeys. I realize your argument here is taking two different things and trying to call them the same, but is simply does not work when logic is applied.

Now can you condemn the call to kill the president and his family? Or is it more important to try and equate two dissimilar things to justify your own position which mimics that of the politician in the article?

You're seriously going to defend someone who calls for assassination?

Racists are pretty dumb. Who would be stupid enough to post this on Facebook? I have a feeling he's going to be getting a visit from the FBI fairly soon. :-D

There doesn't seem to be any indication that the Tea Party supports him or has supported him in the past.

I think this idiot stands alone.

p.s. The guy did much more than simply call Obama a Monkey......he used the N-Word, suggested assassination of him and his family....and called the entire family monkeys. Anyone attempting to minimize what he said should be cast in the same lot as this fool.

Maybe but there certainly seems to be something about the TP movement that attracts this element.

Do you actually believe he was complementing Newt?

Is this the BS you are going to try and push?

No, but libs are not limiting their complaints to the man's call for violence.

The left is also pissed that he used the N-word and called the Obama's monkeys.

Yet they refuse to apply the same venom to an Obama flunky like David Axelrod who continues to call Newt Gingrich a monkey.

This is 2011 and Obama is the President of the United States not a shoeshine boy in 1955 Selma Alabama.

He deserves to be treated no better than any other major public figure.

If David Axelrod can call Newt Gingrich a monkey with the full blessing of the libs around here then I really don't care who calls Obama a monkey too.

What's good for one is good for the other.

I wonder whats worse, some self proclaimed tea party wannabe politician calling for the presidents murder, or someone making a movie about the assassination of a sitting president, George Bush? This thread would be believable if he was actually a politician and not some bigoted trailer park trash. But I guess if you pull a dollar bill through a trailer park you can get anyone to say anything?

Complimenting. The word you are seeking is complimenting. Compliment is a kind word. Complement means to complete or enhance.

I really don't care if he was complimenting Newt or not. Caucasians have not historically been refereed to as monkeys in a manner meant to denigrate their race. You are attempting, as has been tried and has failed in this thread, to equate two non like things.

I find it amazing that so few on your side of the aisle in this thread have actually condemned the clown's call to murder children and assassinate the president.

Of course not. It is justifying blatant racism and excusing the poor behavior of the bigoted. I don't expect many that hold your views towards African Americans to see the difference between the two very different things. I have seen you refer to African Americans as monkeys several times.

It is amazing what one can convince themselves of if they repeat it to themselves enough times.

Because historically Caucasians have not been called monkeys in an effort to denigrate their race. This seems to be a sticking point that your argument keeps prancing over.

I'm having trouble discerning the title to your post. Is this guy a Tea Party politician or is he a wannabe? He can't be both at once.

Focusing and dismissing the "monkey" portion of this guy's tirade and ignoring the assassination and undeniable racial slur, that were offered in the same context, is like arguing that Charles Manson had clean teeth....

It kind of misses the point.

Sure George W. Bush was compared to a monkey as a knock on his personal intelligence. This is a knock on Obama's intelligence that is obviously linked to the color of his skin because it was coupled with a racial slur. It's kind of different. Nevermind the fact that he called for the assassination of the sitting president and his entire family.

Why would anyone defend this guy at all?

I don't understand the TEA party connection. He supported Ron Paul so somehow this is reflective of the TEA Party? He never got any support from the actual TEA party or Ron Paul...or any sane human in general from what I can tell.

And why is a miserably failed person with no political support or history who couldn't get 5% of the vote for a city council seat in a town of less than 100,000 newsworthy? I know why. This article was written with the sole purpose of tying the TEA party to a racist person, and that is pathetic.

Which was indeed part of the point.

Anyone can use the title of the tea party, and this is what happens.

So why not organize? Why not ensure that folks such as Mr. Manson are not allowed to besmirch their fine name?

Please explain the double standard here. I don't remember white folks being referenced to apes, monkeys, etc.

What exactly is the reverse discrimination? Please give us a link to the affirmative action program that Pres. Obama used to get into Harvard.

Did you have a problem with Clarence Thomas using a affirmative action program to go to law school?

Mainly because the TEA party has been perverted and infested with neoconservatives who confuse the message and original intent of the organization.

You really want to go after spelling TFM? Are you strapping on your spell check tights because I promise you I've seen plenty of spelling errors you have made.

    *Mod edit: Personal attack*

*Mod edit:personal attack * Calling someone a monkey no matter what the color is denigrating them. Do you not see this?

Of course we condemn it. Why wont you condemn what happened to Newt?

Put your money where your mouth is.

Why is this person being "allowed to reflect" on the tea party?

    What does that even mean?
