Wannabe Tea Party politician unleashes racist Facebook screed against President Obama

I'll ask again: Is this guy a Tea Party politician or is he a wannabe, for he can't be both?

 

Maybe because the "tea party" is not ideologically monolithic.

 

I think it's because the "tea party" is too ideologically diverse and diffuse to create a formal "organization". Most "tea partiers" would probably be against having party leaders and officials. It is what it is - there is no need to become a formal political party.

 

The initial message of the TEA party was very simple, less federal spending, a resolve for the 10th amendment, and fewer regulations. Now "TEA partiers" are attributing gay marriage, abortion, and foreign policy views to an organization who never really took a stance on any of those issues.

Very true, and this is a major reason why there will never be a tea party "organization". There are too many disparate viewpoints.

The had militant communist, social anarchist, and even a few KKK and National Socialist of their own out there by day 2.

Movements draw in the crazies, there is nothing you can do about it.

It was not a spelling error. It was using the entirely wrong word.

Caucasians were not historically called monkeys in an attempt to denigrate their race. Calling a white person a monkey is very different than calling a black person a monkey.

 

What you fail to note, naturally, is that the TEA PARTY VOTERS, who are the ACTUAL POWER of the movement, rejected him out of hand.

Attempting to tie this California Nutjob to the same people that Tea Party supporters DID ELECT is not only logically implausible, it is completely disengenuous.

I was not personally offended when Obama flunky David Axelrod called Newt Grinrich a monkey but I am offended by the double standard that libs are holding everyone else to.
