    Again....I will EDUCATE YOU.

Because of a wobble in the Earth Solar Orbit we experience cyclical warming and cooling trends and at the time you are talking about we were in such a warming trend and it melted huge Glacier Ice Packs covering all of Canada and the northern area of the U.S. and as the ice melted it left behind the fresh water that settled into the depressions created by such massive weight of ice and this area is now known as the Great Lakes.

And such cooling and warming trends have happened many times over the last 100,000 years and beyond but right now WE ARE NOT in a Solar Orbit Period that would be a Warming Trend.

Do yourself a favor....if you want to debate me come prepared with data and KNOWLEDGE as multiple times now you have presented some idiotic concepts that you felt were a GOTCHA moment but instead the only thing you GOT was a lesson.

Let’s see. The sea levels are rising, just not as fast as some predicted. Note that the sea levels are still rising. The fact that they are not rising as fast as predicted doesn’t mean that they aren’t rising and certainly doesn’t mean global warming isn’t happening.

Too bad you alarmists don't believe in GOD. HE promised never to end humanity again by flooding the earth. The next time HE obviously has something more painful in store for all the fools.

Shouldn't you be at church, and not propagating the internet with your nonsense?

I simply can't appreciate your faith in those whose very careers depend on Global Warming. The "Global Warming" fear insures they are paid top dollar for their research due to the sense of urgency. The climate has changed untold numbers of time in the last 4 Billion years. It's the reason this time that's in dispute.

There were Herbivore Dinosaurs and the vegetation to support them between 400 to 1200 miles from the North Pole about 60 Million years ago. The fossilized remains of both don't lie. Something cause the Earth to warm to that extent, man didn't exist and the fossils for oil were still walking around and growing from the ground. So what caused the Earth to warm that much? Since we know without speculation that the above warming existed without fossil fuels being burned due to the fossils being found there, the burden of proof is on the scientists to prove that the burning fossil materials is causing the warming. So far none of them that I know of has put their careers on the line by stating an absolute YES, burning fossil fuels is causing the latest warming trend. We know through indisputable fact that there were Herbivore Dinosaurs and the vegetation to support them between 400 to 1200 miles from the North Pole about 60 Million years ago. If you can't absolutely prove the latest warm period is man made, then you can't rule out that the same process isn't happening again. Try looking at deforestation as the culprit, an area the size of England, Scotland and Wales is clear cut every year. That's a whole lot of carbon sink disappearing.

Shouldn't you stop trolling and flaming other posters ?

You need to actually produce some first in order for that to happen surely ?

No, I don't go to church. I don't need a church to believe in GOD. Your god is still preaching disaster by way of global warming...that would be the church of Algore.

    Cheers

Millions of people on the coastlines around the world being displaced is disaster.

Well it is if their feet are set in concrete and they live to be 500 perhaps

You realise the seas have been rising now for more than 15,000 years minus rich people

Probably a combination of factors including oceans storing the energy and a weak solar cycle decreasing the amount of energy reaching the earth. Sooner or later the oceans will release their energy and the solar cycle will get stronger.

It really amazes me that some members just refuse to see the reality happening all over the planet.

The U.S. Military setting up plans to evacuate entire Pacific Island Nations.

The Arctic Ocean Ice Pack melting and will be gone in the summer within 7 to 10 years.

Ice Core data showing us that CO2 and CH4 levels have never been this high or raising this fast in 100,000 years,

A massive increase in the number of powerful storms and extreme weather and shifts in ocean currents and jet streams.

    OH...but hey...it's not happening!! What a JOKE!!!

Yeah. They're like the blind men examining the elephant; they can't see the big picture. "We've had record floods before". But have we had 8 record floods and a record typhoon all in one year before? "We set record cold temperatures this year" And how many record cold temperatures compared to record warm temperatures?

and that cold winter we've just gone through would've been a routine winter in my youth, now it's just an anomally...I can hardly contain the urge to roll my eyes when people I meet complain how cold it is, generally they're too young to recall those past colder decades...

Which is logical, if you add more energy to a system it becomes more volatile, capable of bigger extremes....a bit like bolting a supercharger on the family sedan

Isn't New Orleans below sea level? Hmm....I haven't heard of evacuation plans being made active there. I'm sure they have evacuation plans, because they would be naive not to think a storm may hit and cause a catastrophe. Doh, it already happened, and they are still there. hmmmm......

Well, golly, this is a poser, isn't it? People keep chuffing an additionalo 15 billion tons a year of a known greenhouse gas into the atmosphere. Greenhouse gases lead to higher temperatures, all else being equal. So what might this mean? Gee....

    - - - Updated - - -

Uh, based on research and observation. If you did the research to READ some of the studies, and observed what they found, you might look a little more informed than just saying "huh?"

New Orleans has massive Tidal Storm Dams and Dikes on the lake that if you recall did not work out all that great.

What I have posted about the U.S. Military developing evacuation contingency plans and how a few U.S. Island Territories will be evacuated this year and next is true and YOU can look this up as there are a large and long list of Island Nations in trouble from rising sea levels.

    Basic Chemistry.

CO2 in parts per million in our atmosphere is at the highest it's been in over 100,000 years and it is climbing at a faster rate than has ever been recorded and so is CH4.

If you take the time and Google some Chemistry sites specific to the Chemical effect that CO2 and CH4 has in our atmosphere along with solar radiation you will understand.

No, not basic chemistry, the chemistry, science has been proven wrong. See even the IPCC agrees the models were wrong. So chemistry so far nope.

The actual data collected from weather collecting thermometers doesn't show a causal affect from increases in CO2. You can either, get on board the buss or stay behind.

They also didn't have thermometers or recording devices to capture data, so guess what? there is but limited resources to conclude anything. Really?
