The Federal authorities in Washington DC are owned by rent-seeking special interest groups who continually conspire to deprive free people of their natural rights. These special interest groups are not just limited to large corporations like Goldman Sachs or Bank of America, either; these special interest groups also include the very bureaucrats and officials who rely on tax dollars to finance their exorbitant pay and benefits, not to mention the legions of free-loaders who use the power of the state to steal other's hard-earned money. As Washington DC exists solely to serve these rent-seeking special interest groups and not that of free people and their sovereign state governments, it is the moral and lawful DUTY of free people to nullify every Federal edict that runs afoul the natural law at the state and local level. This would include, but is not limited to, edicts related to Federal drug prohibition, healthcare, income taxes, legal tender, gun control, labor laws, and banking regulations. Almost without exception, these regulations and edicts are written by and for a rent-seeking special interest group that is trying to (a) stifle competition or (b) acquire stolen funds (tax dollars) from the Treasury or the central bank. This strategy can be accomplished via jury nullification (finding "not guilty" when the edict is unconstitutional, regardless of whether or not the accused actually violated the edict) and the assertion of State sovereignty through local officials like Sheriffs and Governors. Tell your friends and family that Washington DC no longer represents them or their interests. Tell your friends and family to resist the incremental degradation of our natural rights and to assert their sovereignty.
Since Washington is totally owned and operated by the corporate world, the OP isn't much of a stretch. It's eating itself. Wall street is doing just great though huh?! Our country's priorities are so far beyond completely screwed.
Of course Wall Street is doing great. They are the most subsidized group of rent-seekers on the entire planet. Every lobster a Goldman Sachs executive eats was stolen out of the mouths of the poor.
The OP is dead on. And, what drives me nuts, is all these big government bootlickers, who have the nerve to complain about corporations and the fat cats. Hello you (*)(*)(*)(*)ing nitwits, they're all one in the same.
I recently posted a thread about Chuck Schumer using regulations against ethnic minorities to drive them out of business. Didn't seem to bother the boot-licking crowd, though.
