Yeah since the beginning of the industrial revolution CO2 is up one part per 10000. If the planet is that damn fragile we're all dead any one and should have died long before this

I live on the coast and around boaters and we have a causeway that is about a foot above high tide that the water level hasn't changed since the 1930's when it was built.

So, now you are upset if Fox is referenced? (I have cited a wide range of sources regardless of whether I "like" them -
even the neo-nazi Daily Stormer that hails Trumps as "God Emperor!")

Here is what the US government's NSA is telling the crackpots:
This graph, based on the comparison of atmospheric samples contained in ice cores and more recent direct measurements, provides evidence that atmospheric CO2 has increased since the Industrial Revolution. (Credit: Luthi, D., et al.. 2008; Etheridge, D.M., et al. 2010; Vostok ice core data/J.R. Petit et al.; NOAA Mauna Loa CO2 record.)

Scientific evidence for warming of the climate system is unequivocal.
    - Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change
The current warming trend is of particular significance because most of it is extremely likely (greater than 95 percent probability) to be the result of human activity since the mid-20th century and proceeding at a rate that is unprecedented over decades to millennia.

Earth-orbiting satellites and other technological advances have enabled scientists to see the big picture, collecting many different types of information about our planet and its climate on a global scale. This body of data, collected over many years, reveals the signals of a changing climate.

The heat-trapping nature of carbon dioxide and other gases was demonstrated in the mid-19th century. Their ability to affect the transfer of infrared energy through the atmosphere is the scientific basis of many instruments flown by NASA. There is no question that increased levels of greenhouse gases must cause the Earth to warm in response.

Ice cores drawn from Greenland, Antarctica, and tropical mountain glaciers show that the Earth’s climate responds to changes in greenhouse gas levels. Ancient evidence can also be found in tree rings, ocean sediments, coral reefs, and layers of sedimentary rocks. This ancient, or paleoclimate, evidence reveals that current warming is occurring roughly ten times faster than the average rate of ice-age-recovery warming...

Unfortunately for you and the hysterical left, the article stands in complete opposition to the NOAA and IPCC on weather events.

You don't have to believe science that does not fit with your ideological dogma if you don't want to:

Why do you believe in man made climate change? One of the following?:

    1) You understand the science enough to verify the equations are correct?

    2) You believe that 97% scientists believe it?

    3) For political reasons?

Multiple studies published in peer-reviewed scientific journals1 show that 97 percent or more of actively publishing climate scientists agree*: Climate-warming trends over the past century are extremely likely due to human activities. In addition, most of the leading scientific organizations worldwide have issued public statements endorsing this position. The following is a partial list of these organizations, along with links to their published statements and a selection of related resources.

Congratulations. You have found the only place in the world uneffected by rising sea levels.

    Is sea level rising?
Yes, sea level is rising at an increasing rate.

Of course you did. And how is that working out for you? I get it. You're a denier of the actual science. But it sure was nice of you to cite teen vogue. I do believe that is the most outlandish demonstration yet....

The climate has, is, and will continue to change regardless of what we mere mortals do. Quit denying it.

You are by definition a climate change denier.

The sea wall at my parents place hasn't experienced any rise, at all in the 60 years the house has been there. None. The Hotels that sit on the beach in Miami are still at the same elevation since they were built. Since the 30s. My assumption is that you like reading science fiction.

Look, you Chicken Littles, most people realize the "Global Warming" is a wealth redistribution scam by now.

In case they don't: "Global Warming" is nothing if they don't get any money.

It's all about the dollars, baby.

How come they never include grass in their plant charts?

Could it be because grass absorbs 400% more CO2 than the highest plant they list does?

I’m fascinated by the earth’s ability to deal with increasing global population by freeing up carbon and water essential to support that population. As a guy who is responsible for feeding and supplying some energy and consumer goods to that population, I’m thankful every day that our climate isn’t static or even worse, cooling.

First of all- industrial nations have been increasingly becoming better environmental citizens for decades. Auto mileage and efficiency has drastically improved, and electric cars are coming fast to take that further.
The furnaces in our houses have improved from 70-80% efficiency to 95% plus. Everywhere you look, the conditions we can control have been being improved to benefit the environment. Massive efforts, long term ones. These are real things that are happening now. Politicians- never mention that.

It seems that there is always a doomsday just around the corner. There's always an Arquillian Battle Cruiser threatening to destroy the earth, or perhaps a scientist seeking celebrity status by "proving" his theory with statistics- and worst of all, a politician telling us that if we don't allow them to take power over us, the world will end and we will all die. We may starve/freeze/drown/boil/incinerate or what ever, but avoiding the final end of the world depends on buying their story... and giving them unlimited authority to destroy us economically, as well as destroy our freedoms. What is different about today's "crisis" compared to the long list of those declared in the past? Damn little, once you really look at them.

SO... LETS LOOK AT THE HISTORY OF "END OF THE WORLD" EVENTS.

There were the fears that the world would experience a never-ending "cooling trend in the Northern Hemisphere."
That claim came from an "international team of specialists" cited by The New York Times in 1978.

An Associated Press headline from 1989 read "Rising seas could obliterate nations: U.N. officials."
The article detailed a U.N. environmental official warning that entire nations would be eliminated if the world failed to reverse warming by 2000.

Just years prior, Time magazine echoed other media outlets in suggesting that "another ice age" was imminent. "
Telltale signs are everywhere — from the unexpected persistence and thickness of pack ice in the waters around Iceland to the southward migration of a warmth-loving creature like the armadillo from the Midwest," the magazine warned in 1974. The Guardian similarly warned in 1974 that "Space satellites show new Ice Age coming fast."

more dire predictions came from Paul Ehrlich, a biologist who famously urged population control to mitigate the impacts of humans on the environment. Ehrlich, in 1969, warned that "everybody" would "disappear in a cloud of blue steam in 20 years," The New York Times reported. According to The Salt Lake Tribune, Ehrlich, warning of a "disastrous" famine," urged placing "sterilizing agents into staple foods and drinking water."

Exactly how does that show that 97% of climate scientists agree? It only shows that those who advocate man made global warming are the ones who get published. I want to see a survey that shows 97% of scientists agree. Hint. No such study exists because 97% do not agree.

So this the threat?!?! Some people may have to move over the next century? Dude, Las Vegas did not EXIST 110 years ago. Humans are real damn good at moving, it is kind of our specialty. You need to amp up your scare-mongering a bit.... start talking about climate change being an extinction level event for humans. I am not really feeling it with "your some people may have to move" narrative..... that isn't very scary at all.
