    Since Lewandowski NEVER EVER held a government job the president CANNOT include him in any kind of executive privilege claims.

    Annnnndddddddddd?? Books, Speaking Fees, and TV Deals?... All completely above board. I didn't see the phrases 'oligarchs' or 'Deutschebank' mentioned one time in that article, although I saw the word 'could' several times.... such as the one in the sentence I bolded...

    As long as he releases his source of income, which I sort of expect from ex-presidents as well as current ones (Wink Wink), I have no problem with the Obamas cashing in on taking 8 years of crap from you hosers...

    You really think the average American cares about this TDS circus? You don't even have House votes for this impeachment farce, let alone the Senate. Whatever, I prefer the LW focuses on this charade rather than address the real reasons Trump won W. Va. by 42.

    We will really have something to talk about when the findings of the current investigations of the Deep State soft coup attempt are concluded, you will know what real OOJ looks like.

    You really need to wait until the investigations are concluded. Did you miss where last week McCabe's attempt to stop criminal referrals against him was denied? That is the tip of the iceberg, IMHO. Funny seeing the impeachment crowd talking about Fantasy Land. Do the math, you don't have the votes even among your party.

    In informing Lewandowski, a former top campaign aide to President Trump, that his Oval Office discussions with the president should remain secret due to “executive privilege,” the White House makes a mockery of the separation of powers and the public’s right to know. If a Democratic administration had tried to enforce such a claim, Republicans in Congress would have cried bloody murder.

    Today’s Republicans, though, acting as if they are defense attorneys rather than independent members of Congress with duties to the broader public weal, did nothing but provide diversionary cover for both Lewandowski and the president. Their behavior was shameful.

    Here’s the rub: Lewandowski never was on the White House staff. He was and is no more in the ambit of the “administrative boundaries of the Executive Office” than he is under the protections of Obi Wan Kenobi.

    I don't belong to a party, but your point is taken... Once the articles are written out, the vote will be unanimous, probably on both sides... The D's are trying to have their cake and eat it too, which isn't the worst strategy I've every heard of (unless you get the cake near Nadler)

    They have no right to internal deliberations anymore than Trump ordering Nadler's political staff to the White House to answer question about what they have done in the past and their political planning on the impeachment nonsense. This is about protecting the PRESIDENCY from unconstitutional and unauthorized intrusion on the President who does NOT work for them.
